ConServe (Continental Service Group, Inc) to date, has received in excess of $35,000,000.00 in government contracts from Dept of Education alone just during this fiscal year (Oct 1, 2013 - Sep 30, 2013).

Anyone can look up federal government dollars being paid to them at the Federal Procurement Data System website (fpds.gov).


Isn't it grand! They are being paid my money to harass me!!! And the debt is not even mine!!

This number calls my home every day at 1:30 pm and It is kind of getting annoying

Harrassment collection agency!  Send them a cease and desist letter!

This number comes across at all hours.  When i did pick up no one there.  They never leave a message, they don't even wait for the answering machine to pick up.  Please take me off the list, I owe no one!

Conserv is THE debt collection agency for US Federal Gov't backed student loans. Most of the time, that's what they're calling about.

so I get calls from this number a lot I enjoy pranking them when they do I tell them how we can watch them through the tiny lense at the top of the desktop computer and that were coming to get them my mom best friends could hunt them down, lol silly people there no escape you just dailed the wronnnng number >:) but seriously stop calling lol

The number keeps calling me three times a day, but I never answer it.  Maybe someone got the hint I don't want to talk to them.

I called this number, and the lady was very nice. It is a debt collection; however, if someone gave your number as a contact or alternate phone, they will call you if they cannot find the debtor. The lady is going to send my number to the floor, and if someone contacts me it will be to see if I know where a person can be found. I gave an alternate number for the call so my cell does not rack up minutes. Very professional and sincere. Call them to stop the hassle if you are not the debtor.

Getting many unwanted blank calls from this numbler. We have registered for "do not call", so they are violating the "do not call list" law, by calling multiple times.

They were looking for another Tammy born the year before I was.  Never said what calling about or a company name.

I want to make a deal with them somehow. I can't even find out who owns my defaulted debt. I am an RN and I  want to join the Peace Corps. It is the only thing holding up my acceptnce. The PC recruiter told me I have to make some kind of deal with them or they can't accpet me. They have already extended the OCT 1 deadline becsue they want me. I sserved in PC before and I love the work and helping others in poor countries. Ironic, don't you think---I am too much in debt, ie too poor myself to volunteer my skills

first they used 209-555-1214, 28 times. Went in and rejected that number. now its 877-999-1962. Scammers have a million different numbers. this has all been in the last 1/2 hour.

Whoa, sounds like somebody works for them.

Got a call earlier today and have been trying to find information on Conserv, they are not registered with the BBB also I beleive the conserv notation in these posts is short for Conservative Asset Management Inc. they have a ton of subsidiaries listed on the search page. I read in one of the earlier posts that Conserv was heralded by the gov education dept as the best??? if they are the best then why don't they have a BBB rating.

I don't know what's up with today, but I have been sleeping because I've been sick. Apparently they knew and have called me at least 10 times every 5-20 minutes. They want a "Michael Brown" whom I am not. I set call forwarding on and if they call again I will just answer and see what they want. And then call them back and tell them to remove my number. I am not in college nor have I ever applied for a loan of any kind so they definitely have the wrong person, especially since I am not "Michael Brown."

Called 3 times today. No messeges.

I've told them over 2 years they have the wrong person.  They will not take no.  I downloaded Mr. Number onto my droid phone.  Then put there phone number in it and each time they call.  It answers the call and hangs up on them.  I never even hear my phone ring!!!  WOO HOO!

This number keeps calling me and asking to confirm a birth-date for another person. Doesn't that sound a little bit wrong over the phone? The have called me so many times from this and similar numbers that I refuse to answer the phone.. they are 'Conserve' something.

this is a collection agency tring to collect on a dept. even though the person they are trying to get a hold of is not me. I have tried many times to tell them the have the wrong person but doesn't help they keep calling my phone number.
