CALLED 3 TIMES

I called this number back and found it to be a debt collection agency. I got someone on the phone and told them to stop calling...remove my number from their list. If this happens, I won't be back. If it doesn't, I'll post again. I would suggest calling and telling them to remove your number.
I can't give the name of the company because I can't understand what they are saying other than they are a "professional debt collector".

I KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AND THEY HANG UP I GET SO ANGERY BECAUSE I WAS WAITING FOR A IMPORTANT CALL FR MY SON AND SURE ENOUGHT THEY CALLED 3 TIMES AND   HUNG UP IT IS MADDING PLEASE CAN YOU HELP THANK YOU BARBARA   THE NUMBER IS 877 -999-7656

Isn't telemarketing to cell phones illegal? If so, is there a way to report this number?

Just spoke with Solo who is now aware these ramdom calls are not generated from their company but a 'robot' type. Bell will be getting on it to rectify this problem and have the culprits stop.
Simple solution: don't pick up. Remain hopeful the calls will stop soon.

It looks like this has been a regular occurance over several years.

Also, when I called I asked for charges to be credited and they generously reimbursed on the next bill the total costs.

Hopefully this is useful to someone. I found some of the above posting helpful, particularly that it was a Solo company number. Thank you.

This is very annoying. he keeps calling my daughter cell phone and saying other language that we don't understand. what does he want to do? couple times a day.

I received about 10 times a call from that number... no one speaking! What the hell?

It's super late.... I'm suppose to be in bed... I'm turning the lights off... and I here a buzzing sound... Oh, my phone is ringing!... at this time???? (it's 2:00 am!!!) What's wrong? What's going on???.... I missed the call when I got to it... just to see that it comes from 877-999-7656!!!... They must NOT be in the same time zone, that's for sure!... or they are completely inconsiderate!!!...  Good night...  ZZZzzz...

I never answered this number, I just don't want to be bothered by them, but it has been annoying every time I see this same number calling on my mobile.

yes these numbers had been calling my cell phone about a dozen times. did my checking and it is solo mobile. not worth answering

k so i keep on getting calls from this number as well and it's actually solo...how do i know? becaause i went onto the solo website and went to contact us and the number that appears is the exact some as the caller id :877-999-7656...btw the 7656 part stands for SOLO incase you haven't chacked: here's the site for proof: http://www.solomobile.ca/en/contact-us...but still the calls piss me off i answer them and it's all broken up and then the phone just hangs up -.- so annoying

Sorry, I'd like to revise what I said before. I did some more searching, and this is NOT solo mobile/ bell. It's a scam pretending to be your cell phone provider. I've never actually spoken to these people but, other people have, and they have asked for name, address and even their SIN. Obviously, if they were just your regular cellphone provider, they would not need your SIN.  Phishing Scam!

From what I can tell from my situation and the other comments, this number is related to Solo Mobile. I also think it might have something to do with contracts that are expiring as mine will expire in less than a month. Regardless, like everyone else, once I pick up, there is no response, just dead air. Creepy, but at least it'll be over in a month when I switch cell phone providers!

why are they calling but not talking when i say hello

I've now received 6 calls from 877 999 7656 and everytime there isn't anyone on the other end. Finally I called the number to find out who it is. It's Solo Mobile. I asked why they continue to call me and was told that I must have an outstanding balance on my account so they are calling me. 1 I always carry a credit balance so that was a lie and 2 they wouldn't tell me why there was never anyone on the other end when I answer the call.

Time to SWITCH from Bell/Solo Mobile!!!!!!

I had 3 calls from this number yesterday and several throughout the last few weeks. I never answer and no message is left. It is very annoying and I would like to know who to report this too.

Calls continue to be made from this number as of 2011, agressively selling SOLO subscription service for cell phones. Specifically because of this, I will not be renewing my contract with SOLO mobile until they learn to respect their customers' privacy.

Who ever is calling is driving me nuts

this number is calling everyday when i answer it hangs up. i don't have a cellphone except my two daughters and son but still somebody have to answer if they wants something. it annoys me and wasted my time answering it so this time no more. maybe sales agent again. at first its so scary too. but now at least i know where it came from.
