My boyfriend has a Portuguese last name and since we got a land line, in his name, they been calling - first time girl said she was calling from cancun mexico- i hung up thinking it was a scam. second time a man called and started speaking spanish- very annoying. thinking of calling Rogers but there is no real way to block them since its different numbers.

They called me at 1:19 a.m. and I had to get up to work the next morning.  No one spoke at all and when I tried to call back, it said that I could not complete the call. I want to tell these scavengers to leave me alone and where to go.  I live in Ontario, Canada.  Who do I complain to?  Bell Canada couldn't care less when I call them....what a surprise.  I should have know because Bell Canada sucks.

they call here absolutely every night at the same time for the last 3 or 4 weeks, they just hang up, very annoyed, filling complaint as we speak!

this number calls me every single day at least twice a day. I am sick of this, if I answer there is  noise in the background and nobodey responds, then they hang up!

They want to sell spanish long distance.  What a coincidence that my last name is spanish.  They have gotten even more annoying.  Have asked them to not call us but they still do.  When I last told them not to call anymore they actually asked me if the reason was that there was something with their plan that I did not like.  And we are on the do not call list!  I will file a complaint now for each call they give.  They have mentioned they are from Nuera Telecom.

I just got a call from this number and for some reason my voice was totally cracking when I answered. I was suspicious that it was a telemarketer because I don't know anyone in that area code so I wasn't really paying attention. The person said a whole lot of stuff in Spanish to me, to which I replied "como?" (what), he then said a bunch more stuff -silence on my end- and then asked me in very slow English whether I spoke Spanish, to which I answered "sorta" - I guess my Spanish wasn't good enough for him. Hahah

called me several times during the day when i was not home. when i finally answered the call, the lady asked me if i speak spanish and when i said i dont, lady hung up. i listed my number in the list of do not call for solicitations.

Getting calls from these idiots for a few days. I'm in Toronto. Did not pick up. I been getting calls like this on and off since 2008 asking me if I speak spanish. They are not interested in respecting the law, they hang up if you asked to take off their calling list.

i just got a call from this 18780033803 number and since i dont speak spanish was wondering why they were calling me... i hung up.... it was from pensylvania...

I just noticed this number on my phone at 12:35 AM, and I wish I had answered it but I had my ringer off since it is SO LATE?!?  Why are they calling at that hour?????  Quite scary.... I will try answering it next time and asking what the hell they want.

Been getting calls from that number since last week.... someone talking loud in spanish or portuguese with noise in background... the last few times I simply haven't answered.

Have been getting calls, 3 in the past days from Spanish people, a lady. I dont speak Spanish so I can't tell what she wants.

had a call from this number and ask if i could speak spanish...replied no and said goodbye in french

recd call from 8780033803 - I have call screening and id so if I don't recognize the number I simply don't answer it then I add them to my call screening list so if they try again they get an automated message that says "the party you're trying to reach does not wish to take calls at this time"   works well

I speak spanish and I family in Cuba so my good friend gave them my number so I could get their good long distance plan offer. I told her I was on the road if she could call in 10 mntos. She did. She explained everything to me and i told her since I dont have a credit card i will go buy a Visa and i will cal you back as soon as I have it. That was on Friday, January 27, 2012. This woman whose name is Greici Leca, is the most impolite person I have ever talked. Not even collection agencies has a person like her. She did the same to my mom for months and my poor mother had to be really nasty with her and she stoped calling her. Today is Monday, January 30, 2012 since Friday she had called from different numbers to my cell more than 20 times. If this is not harassment I am don't know what it is. The offer a long distance plan that is,in dead, really good but come on just wait until the person is ready to sing up with your company. I should do something.

They call from 3 diffrent numbers. I have told them MANY times to stop calling without luck. They call EVERY DAY. My husband is spanish ans has told them to stop calling and they hand up on him.

Because I have a spanish last name, I get calls from these spanish only speakers trying to sell me long distance plans.  I am on the do not call list but they keep calling.

they speak spanish, so i answered the call, they were asking for someone from my family, they are so inpolite, they asked questions about myself, did not answer to any of those, they speak in an authoritarian tone and refused to identify themselves, all i can say this is obviously a scam. yes, hablo espanol (i speak spanish)

Got a call (5:10pm), silence. I said "hello", some noises and then silence again (you can tell there is somebody there though). I've had multiple calls from Spanish speaking people trying to sell me a long distance plan, I assume now from this same phone. I've always been polite and simply said I wasn't interested, until recently I started telling them to please remove me from their list as I am in the Canadian No-Call registry. Everything very politely, but lately they have started to hung up on me when I start saying it.

this numbers always called every morning, maybe they want to check if you are at home and if you are not maybe they will contact their partners in crime to break in your house, this must be stop! home insurance company must help to prevent this threat! it doesnt make any sense to waste time calling your phone numbers every single day! i know they have dirty agenda, so we must act!
