We're a small business in Vancouver, Washington. Lately we've had a rash of robo calls and dead air calls. This one came in on 2/9/13 at 11:40am. The second I hear dead air I've been hanging up since we've been inundated the last few weeks. And there's the "000" exchange, which to me sounds like a re-routed overseas call and a bad idea to even answer.

I live in Olympia  WA. and recieved a call from this number on 2-14-2013, I did not answer as I didn,t recognize this odd looking number and let the answering machine take it, they didn't leave any kind of message.

Reside near Seattle, WA. Received incoming from 884-000-2247 on 9Feb2013 @ 12:31PM via residence landline.  Did not recognize, plus an exchange of "000" is odd. So did not pickup.  No message left.  Waste of electrons.

nothing legit about this number. Phone system is seriously polluted with trickery and uselessness.

Yep, just got a call from this number.  Suspicious phone number with 000.

The USA can put a man on the moon, but can't stop illegal phone calls.

Private businesses within the USA like to brag that they are the only ones who know how to do research and development and run a business, yet none of them have been able to come up with a way to stop illegal and harassing phone calls.  In fact it is those private businesses that are using illegal and harassing phone calls as a business model.

Received a call this AM from this number with no other ID but the number itself.  They left no message, just an "air call" on my message machine.  This area code is what read out on my ID, but apparently it is an invalid area code which makes it even more suspicious.
