Got a call at home while I was at work. My wife answered and they asked her about my recent application for a credit card. They knew my address and my date of birth but were trying to get my wife to confirm. They called me at work to ask more questions! Who are these people?! I called it back and it took me to a sprint voicemail.

Gotten at least two dozen calls from this number over past two weeks. When I call them back, get a recording saying no one is available but they don't say on message who they are. Very skeptical about these people. Why don't they leave a message if it's legit?

This phone number has been on my called id twice a day for a week. I finally picked it up, told the person I was not here. She wouldn't leave a message. Now that I know it's a scammer, next time I answer it won't be so politely.

I receiced the call today at 10:00

I just checked the caller ID first, making sure it is from that same number, then picked it up and hung up at the same time.

Done! within 1 second!

Tomorrow I will do the same thing!

Identified his purpose as a courtesy call, I hung up and he stayed on the line making it impossible for me to call out, so i kept him on the line and left the phone on the counter until he hung up.
clearly judging by his voice, this is a scam.

I received the call from that number, it did not say anything, but then hung up in about 2 minutes.

someone called me for credit card issue -- he even does not know which credit card I cerruntly have. he assumed Discover, but he does not know which bank issues discover cards
