Upon further investigation of this number I found the following:

"1-887-253-2343 is not a valid number. If you are sure that you got a phone call from a number beginning with this prefix, the caller may have 'spoofed' caller ID."

Many of the other numbers I have reported are also spoofed. Whomever is making these calls are up to no good.  

Annoyed, the very same thing has been happening to me too. All day. I have already received 5 calls today all from different numbers. Many ring my phone from 1-3 times and they stop it before it gets to voicemail. I suspect many more will be calling.

This 887-253-2343 is the latest number that has called me today. I have already posted about the others that have called today.

This number along with 5 others has been calling me back to back to back every half hour for the last 2hours.
