I didnt get a call
A  package arrived in the mail from A G skin care.
I thought it was some trail crap
There was no paper work showing a charge
Then a charge for 49.95 was pending on my card a few weeks later.
I looked back and saw an 11.95 charge from a few weeks back when the package arrived
I called the number from my bank statement
The company told me to return the package with a return number on it that they gave to me.

Whats odd is that they had my address and number, but an email address that wasn't mine
I hope this email addy is a lead somewhere
I just have to contact the right people

I got two charges from them for 1.95 and 49.95 and a two more charges from a AG Skin Care for about $50. I never went to any of the web pages or got any calls. Somehow they got my card #. I actually got someone there and after a heated discussion he gave me an email to report Fraud.  support@grantresearchguide.com  fraud attention Brian Williams. I don't know if it is any good.

Make sure you report it as FRAUD so it gets chargedback and the scammer loses their merchant account.
The reason their site doesn't come up in a search is that they coded it not to purposely.
The site is a front to get the merchant account only.

The same thing also happened to me. I called the 800 number but got no answer. I'm canceling my credit card.

I also have charges to my bank account. One for December for 59.97 and one for January 59.97. In an attempt to call and receive no answer. I'm going to see what the attorney generals office can do with this mess. It is fraud.

The same thing occurred to me.  I reported it to my bank, filed a claim for fraudulence and cancelled my card.  However, I want to keep it from occurring again and have the fraudulent "company" reported but have no idea what the "company" is.  Any ideas?  Ecore Fundam Las Vegas is not coming up on the internet.

This has been happening to me for 3 months also but they have taken 58.61 from me every month. You need to call your bank and let them know and they will help you. I had to call my fraud department through my bank and they have to send me paper work and my card is usless now. have to wait for a new one.

I have alot of the same as the seven you have. Has anyone found the source of the frauder? I had one to lifelock for $9.00 as well. I have heard they use your own info to access more of your info. Before i searched ECORE and came across this site i as well tried to make phone calls with no luck.

I received a charge for $1.95 from BESTGRANTFORYOU in December 2008.  I have tried to contact the phone number on my credit card statement 1-800-235-1826 a girl answers muttering something and puts you on hold for a service rep but all you get is music.

I never received anything from them in the mail.

I also recieved a a package from York Photo with somone elses name on it.  Can you tell me whose your was sent to??  I threw it away.  Then we were charged by Ecore Fun Las Vegas for 1.87 then 59.97 and then Healthbuy for 9.90 Netflix for 5.38 Gamefly for 6.95 and Gluco balance for 86.85.  We recieved some packages of Acai Berry pills withthis other persons name on them and I jsut sent them back thinking they were misdirected. This is so infuriating.  This is obviously the work of a scum suckign credit card number the theif!

I recieved a call one night at about 8:45 from a 213-426-2705. I thought it was weird it was the number for a grant company that I had been looking at online. The more I talked to them the more I realized they weren't going to send me anything they just wanted my debit card number. I had given it to them the time before that I had talked to them and it was for $1.95. This second time that I talked to them they ended up hangin up on me so I know it's a scam. This morning I checked my bank account and had been charged $58.61. I have a question where should I go and who should I talk to to get this reversed.

I've been getting charged monthly $49.97 from this company and am now working with the dispute department with my bank.

I have just received my credit card statement and am SHOCKED.  SEVEN fraudulent charges Ecore $1.87 and then again for $59.97, EZ Grant Source $3.95, Center4Grants.com $1.99 and again fro $39.95, EMusic.com for $115.50 and BusinessExpo for $7.95.  Like everyone else I can not get any information from these companies.  I called my credit card company and they have removed the charges and changed my account number.  They stated this happend ALL THE TIME.  The smaller charges are made to see if the card number is good and to see if it will go through...so watch out..if you have not gotten a big charge yet, you will!!

The telephone number does not goto or associated with www.alt.usg.edu/ecore/.  Just a coincidence.

I had no phone call but my Bank Of Amer. account was hit for $118.80 on 12/23/08 without authorization, by some company called "York Photo".  I called them & they claimed they didn't know how my account got charged for "photos" (I didn't order any & have never even heard of their company) and they couldn't give me any explanation on how they aquired my bank account number but would credit it back. I was fortunate, as I did get the charge reversed.  A few days later I get this big envelope with about 50 large prints & all of them were copies of the same 2 scenes.  One scene was of a child's b-day party & one was a picture of a gondola!  Prior to this my account (same Bank of America one) was hit twice by a place called "Ecore Fun".  The first one was on 12/22/08 for $1.87 and the second one on 12/28/08 for $59.97.  All I can get when I call them is a recording in which they say they are "Ecore University".  They didn't return any of my calls & I'm contacting my bank in the morning as soon as they open.  Sounds like allot of people's accounts have been hit by the same scammers/thieves.

Happened to me to.  Your card has been compromised.  Report the fraud/dispute the fraudulent charges and cancel your card and get a new one issued.

What BS, my bank refunded most of the charges, but the $29.95 from MEDIAMOGULME was still pending. It finally got posted yesterday, but I wasn't refunded because it apparently MEDIAMOGULME petitioned the cancellation of the transaction and put in a claim that the purchase was indeed real. Like the others, I've never dealt with this company and am pretty frustrated at the current developments. Will keep you posted.

they have been taking $49.95 out of my account for 3 months....who the heck are they and why, with all todays' technology, can't they be found?!!!!!!!!! please help!

I, too, rec'd a charge for $1.87 from ECOO of OO then another charge of $59.97 from Ecore Fun, Las Vegas, NV.  Like you, there were small charges first then a larger one about a week later.  One was from HOLLYWOODTAL, Studio City, CA ($1.95 + $49.95) and the other was MEDIAMOGULME.com ($1.00 + $29.95 + $19.95).  I had to close my cc acct - someone has too much time on their hands!

There was no call, but I too have a 877-577-7373 Ecore Fun $1.87 charge on my Credit Card (Chase) who alerted me with a Fraud call on 12/20, but the Fraudulent charges began on 12/15 from a company by the name of Touchstonesoftware.Com with a charge of $359.90 Chase was extremely helpful with the situation they will send me forms to complete and I am waiting for my new card. My only gripe is that they didn?t seem to care who was making the fraudulent charges when I told them I thought the culptet may have been from a charity I had donated to.

I was charged on my credit card on 11-10-2008 in the amount of $59.97 from the number 887-577-7373. I am disputing the charge. From the other posts I've read, I'm sure this is a fraudulent charge.
