I received several calls from these numbers, 1110,225,217,1300,1305,1307,1309,1101,1108. When I answered the call it was an Indian accented caller. They said they worked for con edison and were going to save me 7% on my electric bills.I told him I did not have an account with con ed. He then asked who was the account with? He started to name Natinal Grid and I said yes,he then asked for account numbers? When I wouldnt give any information I hung up. Later that night I received several other from other numbers but never answered. Sounded like a total SCAM!!

Call went something along the lines of "This is (girl's name) from Credit Card Services.  This is our third attempt to contact you.  Our records indicate that you're paying too much interest on your credit card."

By that time I hung up: I don't have a credit card. Scam.

Just got a call from this number - clearly trying to rip me off.  Duly reporting to my service provider FIDO and also contacting the Canadian Do Not Call Register.  This is not legit, bunch of scammers.....

Tried to call back and it was out of service

The guy confirmed my number and said thankyou.

keep getting calls from 18881111110, this is 2nd time this has happened

I have responded to 888-111-1110 twice now, the first time to ask to be taken off their list and the second to tell them that again, since they keep calling. The second time, the young man I spoke to said it would take 2 weeks, and now that I had actually answered, even to get off their list, I would be re-entered in their system for at least another two weeks.
Someone should charge them with harassment.

Strangely enough, I got a call from these guys while I was talking to my girlfriend and one of the things we were discussing was her enormous student load and credit card dept.  Makes me think they fish the wires for keywords...like the FBI or something.

Got a call from this number not once, twice but three times in one day. they just love to phone and i would rather not have them phone. Reduce credit card what credit card, don't have one.

This number has called my cell phone for the past few months which I don't answer as I don't feel like wasting my minutes on unwanted calls.

They call and ask if they can reduce your creditcard rate for you.i have pressed to be removed from ther list but they continue to call.

Just called again. When asked if I had hit 1 to lower my debt I said yes then was asked "Which credit card payment do you want to reduce?" I informed Michelle that I have no credit cards and that phoning me was a waste of time and to remove me from the list. She confirmed my number (I didn't have to give it) and swears they won't call me again. We'll see.

My husband got a call from this number today.  They were trying to get credit card information from him, supposedly regarding a debt that needed to be paid.  He doesn't even have a credit card.

4 calls in 3 days from this number.  Very annoying.

I just got called too...I AM a telemarketer, but at least for a legit company-
Everything I've read about this number on a couple of sites, these guys are pure scam.
