I got a call from 1 888 123 4567. They did leave a message which they lied on their message and they are complete scam artist. I did get their number. So call them but first block your number. Then call 1 888 856 2020. When they pick up do not say a word or make a sound. Sometimes it will go into a message board. They will get upset just like we get upset. Keep calling them and do not say a word. But first block your number. It is one way to get back at these scums of human beings they are. Thank you.

You're dumb to say "decent company" and that you received calls from their telemarketers in the same breath.

I receive a call from this number 888-123-4567 almost every day about 11 AM. It's always from a credit card scam where they want to know personal information. When the call Call arrives a recording asks you to dial "1" to speak to a person. If I wait a long time listening to these instructions, then that person will try to sell me a credit card. If I don't listen to the whole message and immediately depress the "1" key on the telephone then the person will hang up on me. My guess is that the person sees how long The victim waited to dial "1"  and if the time is too short he or she knows you didn't listen to the whole intro-message

The management/owner of this outfit must be twisted! Why would they want to waste their time calling only to irritate people whom thr've irritated before, instead of irritating /Cheat new people, ones they never called before.

I didn't get a call from this number but I wanted to inform people about a TTY type service in all 50 states that people hang up on or don't answer thinking it's a telemarketer. Here is the website. I just found it this  morning and thought people should know that if someone is calling you using this service because they can't hear or see, you may see the 711 relay number.

This # has called me six or so times by 2:30pm pacific time!! WT... It's extremely irritating! They call and hang up! I'm on the DO NOT CALL list, which most of the time doesn't work anyways! I WILL NOT ANSWER! But don't want them calling! And anyways (888)123-4567? C'mon!

Have been receiving these calls for months now and several times daily.  I have answered only once and there was no one there.

I just got this call today when I answered the person on the other end was blatting like a sheep, then I tried to call it back and it said "could not be completed as dialed."

It makes me so happy when people misspell words while commenting on misspelled words in other posts :)  Oh, and this number called me. I don't know why people get all up in arms about unknown numbers calling.  I just ignore it, then come here to see if there is a post about who it was. If not, I have more important things in my life to think about.

Keep getting calls from 888-123-4567.  No messages are left.  It calls my cell phone.  I'm on the do not call list for both my land line and cell.  Very annoying.  Decided to answer.  No one there.  Decided to call back.  Message - "Your call cannot be completed as dialed.  Please check the number and try again."

1-888-123-4567 is calling me every half an hour. This is the only day off I get from work. I am tired and hoped to sleep in. No such luck. I am letting the answering machine pick up every time and they refuse to leave a message.

Like many other, I have been receiving calls every day, sometimes multiple times a day from 888-123-4567.  As someone posted earlier,  anyone can create that number to appear as the number they are calling from.  With that said,  I confirmed that the people calling are from Wells Fargo Bank.  My wife has a CC with them.  They are trying to sell other products, but they need to speak with the card holder or account holder which is why they always ask for someone by name.  Your number is in their data base as a residential phone number associated with an existing account of theirs.  That is why the calls are getting through the "Do Not Call" registry, because technically they are not unsolicited telemarketers.  I asked them to take me off the call list.  They gave me another number to call which I suspect would do me NO good.  They told me to go into a bank and make a request to have the calls stop.  Like that is really going to happen.  First off, the branches have nothing to do with card services and other promotional departments.  Also, in my case, there are no Wells Fargo Banks in this state.  I am certain they were calling from Wells Fargo because many of the calls over different time periods mentioned the same thing.  Also my wife is the only one in the household who deals with them.  MY ADVISE is to NOT ANSWER the phone, and perhaps it will stop.  If you are like me who did answer, find out where they are calling from and do your best to contact those companies and try and stop it.  Good luck!

I got my first call yesterday.  Did not pick up.  Second call today and did not pick up.  After reading these posts I'm inclined to get a very loud whistle and greet them with that.  However, I do not want to break anyone's eardrums.  So I guess we all just have to chill.

This is a pain in the behind. Receiving 2-3 calls every day or so. Call back states number cannot be completed as dialed. This is crap.

started getting calls from this number tonight, but i refuse to answer any calls from 800/888/866 numbers. i've been home for about 2.5 hours and have received probably 5 calls from this number in that time.  this is ridiculous!

These bozos call all the time - I am getting quite fed up.  I answered and they asked for my wife, I replied how could I help them and she hung up...

we have received several of the 888-123-4567 calls.  Thanks Guardian about the info that this number will show as a default.  I don't answer,  the machine picks up and all it is is a dial tone.  As everyone else we are on the do not call list.  My caller id just said toll free call. Best thing to do is Do Not Answer so they don't know they have a live number.

i have found the companies name which uses telephone number 888-123-4567. The name of the company is Global Contact Services. Their address is 101 Martin Drive, Mount Hope, West Virginia. The real company telephone number is 1-800-379-2381.

Finally answered after the 100th call (or so it felt).  Affiliate of Citi mortgage on the other end selling some time of insurance.

I got a call from 1-888-123-4567. It was Virgin America with a message about a flight change on an impending travel. No problem here.

I've been getting these phone calls for the last week or so and it is time to bring in HLS to deal with this...I very well connected and they will wish they had not telephoned this mumber. One free trip to Cuba should do it.
