They called me also, does anyone know who they are?

I got a call, too.  It was from a company claiming to be notifying me about a problem with my credit card--except that I don't have any!  It's an automated cold call.  Ignore it, but be aware that your number has gotten onto some sort of list.

I just got a call from this number and they left a pre-recorded message about a prescrition drug card for a Canadian Pharmacy.

I received a call from this number on my business cell phone. It was a recorded message regarding "lowering your credit card interest rate"...... BEWARE....

They called my office phone. I missed the call and they didn't leave a voicemail. I called the office number given above and a human answered,
said they didn't have a name associated with my number and they were just
doing random marketing calls in my area. I asked where they bought their
list, because they could either tell me so I could demand they take my office
number off their list or I could call this number every day until they did.
She hung up.

Got A call on a (4) day old TracFone.  From the time of activation of my phone I only made (1) outgoing call to my own home and had not received any incoming calls, at the time this showed as a missed call.  So it appears this is a random computer generated call.  No one supposedly had my number.

just got a call on my cell from this number about an hour ago. funny thing is i just listed my number with the 'do not call registry' yesterday. i know it takes about a month till it takes affect but its still kind of funny.

I got a call on my cell phone that they shouldn't have been using. It sounded like a recorded message and I am wondering if this is some type of software that is trying different number combinations to get real phone hit. The offer was to consolidate loans to get the lower APR.

I got a call from 1-888-169-2425. But there was no voice when I answered it.

Wishing to make their day and put 'them' on hold, I tried calling back this number and it's not even in service !! How then is it able to dial out ??

I got a call from this number and its a company looking to lower bill debt and usually will go to folks who have less than perfect credit, but high debt. THey want you to give them all your loan and credit accounts to lower your payments, which of course does adversly affect your credit. Ignore the call or place it on the do not call list and they should leave you alone.

I had a missed call from this number also on my cell phone with no voice mail. They should not be able to call cell phones! It makes me soo mad!!!

My cell phone rang and I did not answer it. I tried calling back "number could not be completed as dialed" not message nothing. I will my cell company would stop giving it out to people.

I got a call also, it was wanting to confirm my credit information. this was FRAUDULENT as far as I'm concerned so beware.

i just got a call it was someone calling saying i just recieved a letter in the mail and that i should call them back and they would reconsolidate my credit card rates blah blah blah... saying i have high credit card rates and i should callback and have my acct number ready. i dont even have a credit card at all none.? they called my cellphone for gods sake?? im confused i think it is a spammer

Called my phone.  I didn't recognize the number so i didn't answer.  Greg from some non profit enrollment center wanting to lower my rates or something and how he needs some info off of my statements. Call back number left was 866-779-3934.

I redeived a call from National Health Care about Health Insurance. They left this number as a call back number. This number is not a valid number.

I've gotten the same thing as the rest of you.  They stated they were from "cardmember services" and not to worry, my account was in good standing.  
I believe this to be a phone scam.  
A few good things to keep in mind is that a reputable company (especially a credit card company) will identify themselves.  This is true on phone calls as well as e-mail notifications.  There are many credit card companies, American Express, Citi and Capital One to name a few.  Banks also offer credit cards.  A Reputable company would have identified themselves as more than "Cardmember Services"
Secondly, I've never dealt with a credit card company who didn't specify which account they were calling about, typically saying "account ending in xxxx" where xxxx is the last 4 digits of my card number.  The fact that this automated caller referred only to "your account" sent up the second red flag for me.
Be warned - this is probably a phishing scam.  Better safe than having your identity stolen!!

I received the same call as described by previous entries.  It gave me a choice.  To talk to a person, press "1."  Or I could press "3," I think to be removed from their calling list.  Well, in the past, on similar calls, pressing "3" to be removed has done no good--so I pressed "1" to talk to a person, but the person never came on the phone.  I tried to call the number, but that doesn't work, either.  I am particularly irritated because they are calling me on my cell phone--using up my minutes.

I have several open financial accounts (banks, insurance etc.) and one credit card account. All are in good standing. This irritates me...
