received a call fromm 888-200-8795 and dept my account $5.00 dollars, how can i stop that , it's unwanted call

I was trying to get a Free copy of a manual from Motorola and ended up with this "whatever."  I followed directions and cancelled but want to be sure my account is not billed for this as it told me in the phone message that my phone carrier was not accepable.

I just got my cell bill and noticed $48.00 extra in data charges.  I went to the details page and found three text numbers, 62448, 25184 and 96633, I did not recognize.  I was charged $9.99 per number for something I didn't subscribe to.  I texted STOP to each number, but received a reply that said I was not subscribed to anything.  I called Verizon and they removed the charges from my bill only because I have been with them forever.  They said they would not be able to remove the charges if they appear again.  We will have to see what happens.

My husband is receiving calls from this number with "trivia" info. He does not know how they obtained his number and we have called the 888 number to cancel. The line shuts down and says it can accept no more msgs when you try to cancel. It aso gave a web address www.testforIQ.com that does not seem correct.  I give up. Do you know the name of the company -- I can't understand the voice on the 888 number when she gives the company name. Any suggestions?

Je suis de Québec et je reçois le même message continuellement.  Il m'est impossible de le "stopper" de plus je ne parle pas anglais.  J'ai fait quelques recherches sur Internet pour me débarasser de ce récurent message 72000.  Malheureusement, je n'ai rien trouvé.

I have been getting these text messages also. I have text them to stop 5 times and I still am getting the text messages. I was charged $5.00 for each message that they sent, In total $20.00. I ended up changing my cell phone number. Anyone getting these text messages should be aware that they will not stop even when you ask them to.

I was getting text messages from this number also and being charge 9.99 a month... I called AT&T to have it stop...

how long did it take to get a msg for unsubscribing

i get the same thing but i keep getting texts costinf me 5$/week does anybody know how to stop it, giving me a headache

you have to text "stop" to the number 25184 to unsubscribe.  You will then get a message that says you are no longer subscribed.  If you want the refund you have to get ahold of the 888 number. (still no luck there).

I had the same problem, company   calls cell phone and charges you a premium call charge $9.99. I  had to CcANCEL MY  TEXT MESSAGES TO AVOID THE UNWANTED CHARGE. I SPOKE WITH RYAN, BRYAN, AND SEAN. I WAS TOLD TO CALL BACK,  I DID AND WAS KEPT ON HOLD FOR 15 MINUTES UNTIL I GAVE UP. THEY WOULD NOT DISCLOSE A COMPANY NAME OR ADDRESS. BIG RIP-OFF. VERIZON WAS ABLE TO GIVE INFORMATION TO STOP.

I'm getting the same text @ $5/week on my cell. Looking for a solution. When I call the 888-200-8795 all I get are recorded options for chat lines or sex talk.

unwanted messages sent to me and i was asked to message "STOP" to this number if i want to stop the message. but they keep sending and told me the subs has renewed for $5/week.
