Someone from this number has called my home phone several times.... Does not leave message.  Since I have Caller ID and do not answer unavailable or unknown numbers ....  just curious as to nature of call.

Called and left a message on machine about how someone should talk because she thought she could hear it breathing!

ya'll type in this 888 number in yahoo search.  a lot of comments there that don't appear here.

Someone calls my house from this number a few times a week.  I usually never answer the phone because I only use my home phone for faxing.  Tonight when I answered the phone, the person on the other line hung up in my face.

Got a call from 888-918-9004 Kids Wish Network asking for a donation.

These folks call with a variety of phone numbers. They never leave a message. Several times when I have answered the phone, they were very forceful and rude.

The number that is listed on my caller id is 876-294-2445 but when I block the last caller, I actually block the 888-201-7282 number.

According to FCC website http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/809.html, consumers shouldn't call those numbers back.

They just continue to call with no message. They call evening and dday time it is so annoying

ok guys, i just spoke to F Jones at 727-756-1405... if i understood correctly she said that the "donor" was the one that had this number and that they had received numerous complaints.  i told her about this site and she said that she had bee told about it before, but didn't know where to find it.  i told her to just google the 888 phone number.  during our conversation she said that no one had ever given their full name in their complaint.  when i gave her mine and started to spell my last name, she finished my sentence.  i can only guess that she had logged on to this site and knew who i was.  in addition she asked for my address, which i said she didn't need.  to sum up my conversation, it is not their fault, and they have been having trouble for the last month.  i told her that the problem goes back much farther than that.  anyone want to chime in here?

I receive calls from this number several times a week.  When I call back, it rings for a while then gives a busy signal.  What I can't figure out is why they hang up when I answer the phone.

Upon answering the incoming call from this number there were a few moments
of silence then a hangup.
When I answered and said nothing, there was a longer pause before they apparently hung up.
I tried calling this number, it rang until the line was disconnected.

Received a hang-up call Friday, August 17 at about 1:00PM.  Tried to call back but on one answered.

Over last year dozens of calls from this #, never any one on other end they just hang up when you say hello. The number is for a "KIDS WISH NETWORK", they have a web site, as listed in other reports, and their mailing address is 4060 Louis Ave, Holiday , Fl. 34691.
FYI, FTC does not follow up on these complaints.

Caller was very aggressive in wanting a donation for this organization. I hung up on him. Looked up the website of the organization and a different phone number was listed. How do I get removed from this call list?

Calls all the time...it's the feds in disguise man

Calls come in late afternoon, show as unavailable on caller ID so I don't answer.  I've tried calling the number and always get a busy signal.  Annoying -- as most unavailable calls are.

I called the kidz wish network and they said they did have the number 888-201-7282 and must be having trouble with that number and took my number and said they would remove me from the call list?
If they don't I am talking to my lawyer!

I answer and they hangup!  Same for answering machine!

I get calls from this number every evening at 8pm.  I go to work very early so I am usually trying to sleep at this time.  I have answered every time they call but I have yet to have anyone on the other end of the line.

I consider this nusiance calling and want it to stop.  Is there anywhere one can report this sort of thing?

This number 1-888-201-7282 has called 2 days in a row around 10 am EST. Caller ID shows toll free # and nothing else. Answer machine picks up and they hang up? Any ideas who it is?

Call came from 1-888-201-7282.  The company is Kid's Wish Network and their phone number is 1-888-918-9004.  You can call and have them take your number off the list, but they're going to ask for your full name, address, and phone number.  I refused to give my name or address, and told them if they didn't stop calling my number I'd find a way to pursue legal action.  The do not call list may not apply to charities, but if you call and tell them to stop and they continue.. then you have grounds to take them to court.

I'm glad to find this site. I know now that I don't really want to take a call from this outfit. Luckily, for me, I have an older caller ID unit that has a built-in database and a "Reject Call" feature. After ring #1, they'll get an automatic message that I'm not taking their calls.

They said they were the CRF Network callingon behalf of Kids Wish.  I asked to be taken off their list, but they hung up before I got a response.
