Am on the do not call list and the calls keep coming. I think I have more blocked numbers in my phone book than I do contacts. The # calling was 888-202-2376

She lied to you. It does matter. Why would a residence need labor law posters? File DNC complaints!

Thanks to this site for being here! I don't have caller ID but it seemed worth a try. Called the number back. Chose option 3 (not 2) to be added to the do not call list.
NewHorizon 2011-06-27 13:40:11 Unknown
They called back and I picked up this time. (Referring to my previous post above.)
Dialing 0, then 0 did the trick.
Lady came online asked something like, "Is there a reason you don't need the mandated posters?" I just said, "We need 'em, but we can get them freely elsewhere. Could you add us to your do-not-call list please?" Response was "yes", then >click<.
Phoenician Phone Guard 2011-06-23 20:26:35 Unknown
Hey My Posters are ready, according to Robo Lady if anyone would like one....wait, what posters? I did not order any posters! What is this?!?!
kev 2011-06-23 16:20:32 Telemarketer
call back
option 3- remove from call list
Sgt Hootch 2011-06-23 15:31:17 Unknown
We got a call also. When I "ordered" 0 posters a real person came on line. When she insisted I needed labor law posters, I told her "We are all slaves here and have no need for laws."
She stuttered a second and then said, "We'll take your number off the list."
Margaret 2011-06-22 20:14:19 Unknown
Unwanted call, did not answer, voice mail said press 1 for yes and 2 for no and hung up.
Mel 2011-06-22 16:45:32 Telemarketer
If you call the number back, you can push 3 to remove your call from the list. However, I have done this twice in the past 2 weeks and we are still getting calls.
NewHorizon 2011-06-21 17:16:23 Telemarketer
A snippet of their prerecorded prompted landed on our voice mail.
Yes indeed, folks, report 'em.
Our posts here - while informative - won't discourage the scumbags.
NewHorizon 2011-06-21 17:12:27 Telemarketer
We missed their call and they left a piece of some prerecorded prompting in voice mail.
As for other comments about the posters, I believe it is correct that you can find them for free from the appropriate gov't agencies. And there's no such thing as "poster police", of course, but putting up the (free) posters would be a principled thing to do for the employees, imho.

They wanted to sell me some posters, this is a residence not a business, the lady says it does not matter.
Is that true ?
rubysgirl 2011-06-17 18:43:31 Unknown
I get calls from this number every week about a package that is suppose to be delived to me that I never ordered. How do I stop these calls?
office manager 2011-06-17 18:39:23 Telemarketer
This robo calls me every day, sometimes more, about labor posters, which we do not use and never have ordered, nothing just a cold call every day. I am really getting sick of it. I hang up and go back to use the phone and it is still tied up with this stupid nonsense, won't hang up for some reason.
Jim 2011-06-17 16:54:46 Telemarketer
Reported them by filing a complaint on the do not call website today. They are now calling my personal cell phone that is also on the do not call list. Recorded calls are almost daily. File a complaint and help put these miscreants out of business.
A Nonymous 2011-06-16 20:05:53 Unknown
This is not true. We have never ordered any free posters from the government, as you said in your post, and yet we got this call, too. Just like any spammer, phone spammer, etc., they get your number from one of the millions of 'business lists' that other spammers/phone spammers sell and resell ad-infinitum. Most of this information comes from whitepages websites, etc. Google your business phone number sometime, and you will likely see it in dozens of places. This has nothing to do with 'government control' or controls or whatever -- it's because our business numbers (all of us) are on the internet and can be scraped easily.

See my post of May 31, 2011. Today is June 15, 2011. They must have me on a robocall two-week cycle.
Donna Petree 2011-06-14 22:04:43 Unknown
Yep- I'm sick of these things- funny thing is- the accent was so bad I thought she said 'coasters' which we did actually just order for a big client along with placemats! So I took 20 minutes trying to figure out if this was the company we ordered them from because my Graphic Designer has already gone for the day! Thanks to everyone for reporting- I would have wasted my designers time too!

I just kept punching 0 until I got a lady. I told her to take me off their damn list and she said "Ok, have a nice day" I asked her to confirm that I was no longer on their list and she said "ok, have a nice day". I then told her if they call me again I would report them to the police for harassment.
ug 2011-06-09 16:51:14 Telemarketer
called them back, "press 2 to be removed". Hope it works.
Cheers all.

I called them back and a recording said to press 1 to order or press 2 to be added to the do not call list. I pressed 2, the robot recited my number and said I have been added to the do not call list. Time will tell.

Yes these Assclowns called my little office twice today but in the last 2 nonths probably called about a dozen times always leaving the same message, "1 for yes, 2 for no".
I'm NEVER in the office hence always the voice mail but it does get agrvating especially knowing that all they want to do is scare someone into buying some stupid posters at a high price knowing that we can download the same posters for FREE off the web.
wish I was there one time when they called to play with them a little bit.

These people have called several times wanting me to purchase their Labor Law Posters (required by law)
I told the lady to please remove my name from the list that I do not wish to purchase any of their products.
The lady was very rude and told me that by law I have to have these posters displayed to all employees in my office. I informed her that I am the only one here in my office and she did'nt know what to say.
These people are a JOKE ! avoid ever talking to them on the phone I get at least 3 calls a day from them now.
Tominphx 2011-06-07 18:49:19 Telemarketer
See www.laborlawpostercenter.com. I agree with other posts that this robocall recording implies that you've ordered something and asks you to press 1 to confirm that they're sending your posters to the correct address (which they also harvested from public listings.)
I pressed zero repeatedly, got a human, asked him how to be removed from their list, he tried to explain why I wanted their posters, I said just remove me from your list, he said alright, I asked if he needed to confirm my phone number for removal, and he said, "Nope, we called ya" and hung up.
Kathy 2011-06-06 21:05:00 Unknown
I had the same call... if you press 0, it will ask you the quantity that you wish to order then press 0 again and you'll get a live person on the phone. I informed them just how annoying their call was and to remove me from their list.
