Just got a voicemail from the Heidi Pock character, saying that she came a across an old copy of my resume that they had on file and that I should call back. No company name, no job opening, nothing - super weird.

Just got a call from "Heidi Pock".  Very strange that they didn't mention the name of the company or the position in reference.  Good thing I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.

This is the second call from them, got one in 2011, same BS they are obviously checking out resumes on line. I checked them out last time by coming here. Obviously they are up to the same old scam. BEWARE!

I also just got a call from this Heidi Pock that called from 347-529-6190 and left a message to call 888-205-3370. Cool!
I called back the cell number and was the told the same story about a resume. Never applied with them before. Gotta be creepy.

I got the same invite and I'm a bit suspicious about it, so did anyone of you actually go?

Thank you for the information. I got a call today from same people. Number starting in 888 sounds very shady to me. I definitely do not want to lose my time with scams.

I got a call from Heidi.........reading your posts about the seminar reminds me of the one I went to
several years ago from Primerica which to me is a big scam; the seminar was a screening at the
New Yorker Hotel around 7:30 pm;

This "Heidi" who called didnt say what company she is from or what position....

I think it may be this company calling again, but not 100% sure

I got a voice msg from Heidi regarding my resume and was told to call 888-205-3370
when u google the number it says it's a fax number for a realty place

Obviously these two, Heidi and Rick, have been doing this for quite some time, according to these posts from everyone!  I too got a call from Heidi on my cell phone and she spoke really fast and left me the 888-205-3370 number to call back, with no mention of the company or a position available.  All she said was that she had my resume on file.  Before I went into this website, I called the number and they mentioned American Financial Services and their names, Rick and Heidi.  I didn't leave any message and glad I found this website to learn more about this!  Months ago I also got a call from a similar type setup from a woman with a really heavy accent saying she was from some financial services company.  What they probably want is salespeople and who even knows if it is a legit business?  I tried goggling this company and did not come up with anything that matches the phone number they are giving out.  Just a shame that when you are looking for a job you have to put up with these scams!

I also received a call regarding my resume and was asked to rtn call to 888-205-3370..I did so, left a message and a Rick Poch called back, we spoke and he invited me to attend a seminar at the New Yorker Hotel on Wednesday, 4/14/11 @ 7:15 pm.....did anyone else get an invite?

Beware all. I received a phone call in regards to my resume. Person leaves a message by the name Heidi Pock. I called 888 205 2370, a voicemail system comes up.  It's a scam.

PS checked my caller ID number came from a cell phone which was not available but the name came up as Chris Herandez.....Total SCAM

Received a phone call from someone named Rick Poch no company name which is odd to begin with saying the had my resume on file and to call and leave a message if I am not there. Weird message this is the office of Rick and Heidi from American Financial Service who shares and office. Left message saying it is hard to get in touch with me so I will call back. Glad I said that and went a checking found this site THANK GOODNESS....

Received the same message...called from cell (347) 529-6190 left call back number as (888) 205-3370.  Once numbered is called its an answering machine.  Glad I checked this website....b/c I know I never applied for a position at their mysterious company which was not clearly stated.  If you get a call from a Heidi Poch....its fraud look out.

I got a message from someone identifying themself as Heid Poch. She stated that she came across an old resume of mine. What made me suspicous is the fact that she didn't give me a company name nor did she tell me the position she was trying to fill. I am an HR professional and whenever you call someone about a job and leave a message you want to provide your name the company's name and the position that you are calling about.

Recieved same message Rick 888-205-3370 came across resume before discarding. I googled number because he didn't mention his company. Sound like a scam to me. Rick won't be getting a call from me.

Thank goodness i google this number as i just got a call from them today. It sounds extra shady, no company uses 888 numbers.

I just received a call from the wife of Rick Poch.  They wanted me to attend a presentation, being conducted at 7:30 PM, next Wednesday night, in what they called the first step in a screening process at that same midtown hotel.  Since I am attending school at night, I asked if there was a daytime presentation, and she said none are currently planned.  Who conducts business out of a hotel office?  She said that Rick was a VP, and to ask for him.  It sounds suspicious to me also.  I  initially agreed to attend, but I'm glad I saw these blog.

I got the act same message from Heidi Pock .  Actually, they called me several months ago and I called to ask more info as I WAS looking for a job.  never heard back.  Wish I could prevent these people from calling again.
