Yes these are the scammers if you owe money to a company pay the company with a letter of apology and a money order...received a call first from an Amber my number is unlisted so i dont know how they got it...than she gave me some four digit number and told me to call another number to find out what it was about 888 3174 5225 i call this number and the lady was very RUDE and she wanted my last of my social and where i worked...i did not give my verifiying info and she would not answer any questions like what company are u with...anyway the call ended...i called back and another nice woman answered the phone got the name of the Company Wellman & Associates, found out they are in Atlatanta its a thrid party collectin agency, they come at you hard, but I live in Philly so they dont have no jurisdiction...also recieved another message from Amber and she said she was going to the post office to verify my information...so serve my papers already I wold rather see all this court documents in my hand...but all this calling my phone leaving threatning messages is for the birds...i know my rights.This is a scam dont pay the third party companys ...pay the company you have the bill with they will accept the money regardless if its sent to collections...

I just wish these scamming unprofessional people would just lose my number. Once they get a hold of your information or through pilishing your info through online fake sites that trick people into thinking they are applying for a loan, but then all your info is gone. yes! its gone, right into some scammers hands. So innocent.. We all must be careful when appyling or paying for things online. Use only trusted sites. I know this now. Its to late for me, my info is out there. Just ignore the calls. They will give up. No cops ever show up at the door. When do cops ever just show up at your door??

These people are scary. They are scary for a reason and that is to get money from you.. A real collection agency does not use scare tactics and you would have some form of communication via mail on a monthly basis from a true collection agency.

Have a message on my answering machine from a Kim Wright stating that she has received a file that came acrossed her desk. She asked that I return her call at  888-207-2304. She theatened me with saying I could be brought to trial. For what? I do not know. Kind of fishy to me being this is right before Christmas time.  No other communication, I have received no documents via mail? . Scam..

Has anyone recieved any legal action from this company..im dealing with them kinda scary.

Received a call yesterday from Mark Williams and he wasn't available...so some RUDE man answered the phone would not let me get a word in.. who is these rude a$$ people?!! Not professional at all!! Wouldn't give me any information..ask for a claim#...advised they gave me a document#.. he didn't believe ANYthing I was saying..wouldn't let me get a word in...then after I was trying to explain myself and hung up...he was VERY unprofessional. Called back..lady answered phone stating she was the manager and she was rude and stated "I have other things to do, I don't have to sit on this phone with you about a BAD check you wrote in 2004" Clearly, I didn't write a check in 2004 and didn't have a clue what she was talking about...she states Fedex is on his way to get this paperwork and you will be going to court. I coursed her OUT and hung the phone up.. VERY RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will FIND this compay!!

This 888-207-2304 number called my sister in laws husband and ask for me they reside in ga and i live in ms.  Now I called the number mike ? spoke to first very rude would not let me get a word in then said that it was some kind of payday loan.  I told him I did not have one then he refused to believe that.  I asked to send me documentation.  He refused and hung up, I called back a lady answered,  she was rude kept putting me on hold and sd that she would send file and have the authorities to come out.

After calling them today, their voicemail now says the business name is NCR - there are only two people that work there apparently, Ms. Walker and Mr. McDuffy ... and in the background you hear one of them yelling at people.

I just got that call today! Supposedly their names are Wellman and Associates but they are of little assistance. Requesting payment for a payday loan and will ONLY take credit or debit cards! SCAMMERS

Who are these people?  I think they are scams.

I had this number call me and said it was for a delinquent payday loan ....then threatend to send me to jail if i didnt pay

Called and left message after company called me. I did not hear from them so I called the very next day. They refused to give me any info and said whatever file number I had was not in their offices anymore. Very rude people and very threatening but refued to give ANY info on what the file was or who to contact to find out. The woman I spoke to did everything except curse at me. Wow, great company that refuses to give any info.
