paid my bill from v.a. pharmacy on line; check in my checking acc and found a charge for 7.95 from this number I didn't think the gov screwed people this way

Frauduently charged my Credit Card

This is actually a privacy guard service.  When I opened my Bank of America credit card it asked if I wanted to have access to a service that allows me to see my credit report and it notifies you of fraud and the like.  This charge is the annual dues for the service.

Found this charge on the credit card bill, the only identification is CT and this number.  We have been paying $9 for almost a year now, with no idea as to who gets the money or why.  We called the credit card company to dispute the charge, so we will have the payments refunded and it will stop being billed to our card.
