I've gotten a call every day for the past 4 days now.  The first two times I picked up and there was moment of silence before the call ended.  I marked the number as "blacklisted" and will ignore from now on; have no idea who it is but (888) is a toll free code so likely they're telemarketers.

This company is called google startup. Several times in the past few days have they called and hung up. I called right after it started and told them to put me on their do not call list. I'm on the registry as well. Did it stop them? NO.

I typed this number in google and wow here are comments about this crappy number, when I answer it is a moment of silence and then the call end.  When will they stop callin cause it's now 1:37 p.m. and this number has called me 3 times already in this day.  Im gonna just scream in their ear and play loud music.  I mean if it is a telemarketer, when are they going to identify theyself.

This is a scam trying to get you to work from home for google.  Do not give them any of your info

This number just called some marketing company wanting me to blog for google and saying that I will get paid.  B.S.  They were very persistent about getting paid for work.  B.S.

Oh these people are driving me nuts. they woke me up at 6 am, and call 5 x a day. when i answer- silence, when I call back they play crappy music. How to stop them???

A couple weeks ago I was getting calls for 888-210-939-4 trying to sell me some online business. I finally told them on the 8th to stop calling me or I will report them for harrassment.  The calls stopped until today, when 888-210-939-1 called with the same intent.  With practically identical phone numbers and the same intent I am convinced this is the same company continuing to harrass me.  WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE THEM STOP???

Someone is tracking the cell phone, each time they call you, they know where you are.  They know your Whereabouts all the time

September 10, 2009 I received my first Call from 888-210-9391.  I have received 3 to 4 calls everyday since, and I'm fed up with it.  You would think they would have better things to do.  I'm just hoping this is not the beginning of a Master plan to track certain cell Numbers in certain locations.  You think about this very carefully, each time they call your phone it will identify your physical location.  They are actually tracking your whereabouts the entire day, each time that cell phone rings, they know where you are.   I will definetely report this Number, we must put a stop to this.

It is 10:30 at night and this number just called me. REALLY???? that is all I have to say. Tried calling back and also got music in the background! Do they realize the time????

They called twice today and don't even talk when I do answer the phone.  I don't know how they got my number and that is a little disturbing as well.  Hope they will stop soon...

I understand Stephanie. When I got my phone on breaks, I would check for missed calls and this number was always calling me about 5 times a day. I called it back and got hold like music. The next time they called me, I answered it and told me I never want to have call from them again and that they were disrupting my day. I haven't gotten a call since from them. That is the way I got to them to stop.

this number called me but didnot leave a message. When I called them back, they wouldn't answer. Played music in background.

they call every couple hours, when i try to call back, NOBODY picks up.

They call 3-4 times a day.. finally i answered it and it was a telemarketer in almost unrecognizable English asking me to begin a 7 day trial for their product. They said  the received my (mobile) phone number from an online survey?. I cut her off in mid sentence and kindly told her that she was calling a private line and to remove this number from the call list. .. We'll see if it helped!

this is absolutly ridiculious!
they just started calling me yesterday and have called like 5 times now since then.
and they just call me now!! i refuse to answer it because:
1) i dont answer calls from numbers i dnt know.
2) and i will go off on them for calling me so many times!
but this is just getting to the point where someone needs to do something.
im SO sick of them calling every 4 hours!

They keep calling - I did get someone to answer who said they would remove my number but they called two more times again today.  The first call was at 7:30 this morning!

3 days in a row. 2 times a day. I just call blocked the # to see if it works.

Calls and won't leave message. I called back and get music playing "lovely day" I sat there for 5 min and no one ever answered. I did check out that website a few days ago for that google start up but I never submitted anything. I saw that there was a disclaimer that they were not affiliated with google. I am not sure how to get them to stop calling me.

Number keeps calling my cell phone wasting my minutes

I've been receiving 2 calls a day from 1-888-210-9391. This nuisance calling has been going on for a week now and they never leave a message.

yeah they just started calling me too. i followed what lawrence said and filed a complaint with the ftc. good idea. others should do it too. i think it should help to get this company off people's backs.

I've been pestered by this company for the last five days. I ask them to put me through to a supervisor or manager and I'm either told that they are busy with other calls or I get disconnected. When I call back I get a lousy rendition of "Lovely Day" blaring down the phone to me.
I seem to get the same woman answering the phone as well, but she always uses a different name. Yesterday she was Karen and today she was Sarah Miller.
Just so you know they say they are Google Start Up, however I went to Google's main office which is near where I live in Santa Monica and they told me they have no association with this company.
I've found out that this firm is in Las Vegas.
Best bet is if enough of us complain to the Federal Trade Commission they will shut them down

I just received a call from this number that didn't leave a message.

This number just called me, I answered, it is a marketing place wanting you to work online at home stuff. I assume it came from signing up for at home online job opportunities through facebook offers,like through games offering free brownie points if you do surveys and stupid stuff like that.

Sometime yo can go to www.whocalled.us and it will tell you who called.  Good luck, I'm going there now myself.
