call from 888 217 2446 at 5:25pm 1/30/08.  no one answerd.

These guys keep calling us every few months. We have asked them to stop calling, but they keep calling. They all sound like used car salesman and sometimes they are rude.

We also get calls from this number once a week. We have called it back, and almost every time we have listened to the voice mail- it's a different company. They call us early in the morning and late at night, usually hanging up if we answer.

now its the "total health 4 you" called at 8pm and didnt answer just hung up

We received a call this afternoon..5:30 pm or so.  They hung up when my little son answered.   I did *69 back and got the phone number listed above!  When I called them, an answering machine picked up for the "disabled firefighters association".  We've literally been receiving calls from these guys every week looking for money.  I've asked them to stop calling us, because we can't afford to give them anymore money!!  I left a v.m. for them stating our phone number and told them to stop calling us.

Who is this?  Why the call - seemingly random seepage and spewage from none too quiet place in telephone arena.
