Have received two calls from Nate Andrews at Brennan & Clark making vague references to law suits, money owed, attorneys, multiple phone calls (yes, two calls IS multiple...), mailed info & accusations of never contacting him. He never did specify to whom he was directing the call(s). Neither my husband nor I have ever heard of him, his firm or QBE. I did leave a message on his voice mail today (6/25/14) letting him know that I had no knowledge of him, his firm, or of QBE, nor of the case file he mentioned. We will be ignoring any future calls, or if he becomes more aggressive, our attorney will deal with him.

They seem to be very active today. Christopher John (or Johnsen) from Brennan & Clark just called again, using the phone number 630-35906115.
Be warned: this guy is VERY aggressive and tries to get you on your knees. He had no luck here. But be careful, and don't let him get you.

I just got the first call from them today - 1-888-217-3212, ext. 6115. He talked to our answering machine. His Name is Christopher John (or Johnsen), referred to written correspondence I've never received, and left a reference # and a bit of a threat. I called back but only reached his answering machine, so I'm just waiting on what happens next.
Since I am 100% sure that I don't owe any money to anyone  will report them without hesitation and I'm not shy of suing them either.

I just got a call from these jerks 1-888-217-3212.  They said I owed money from an insurance plan that I canceled.  They were/are the rudest collection agency that I have EVER talked to. WOW They were even rude before I could ask why they were calling. They were extremely threatening. I explained that I moved and had not received any mail from them she told me that the mail they sent was returned to them.    This lady was still saying how I had been avoiding them.  CRAZY! WHAT? She wanted my checking account information over the phone right then and there.  NO WAY.   What a scam.  These people should be thrown in jail or at the very least put out of business.    I will not pay them a dime. EVER

My husband and I received a call today from a man claiming to be Dan Roberts from Brennan and Clark Law firm. He has been hired by his client Erie Insurance to settle out of court a serious issue and it would be in our best interest to get a lawyer or to contact him immdedialey to settle. We don't know anything about Erie insurance and have not be involved with any issues. He was treating on the voice message.

This company has the most rude employees I have ever talked to who misrepresent themselves and I was a third party.  You are obviously a loser yourself if reading this is all you can think of to do and have never received a call from Nathan Andrews at 630-359-6170. This is his direct line.

Just received a vm from  "George Clark" of Brennan & Clark. Left strong message about collecting for his client, BUT did not say who his client is. Fortunately I am an ex-collector and recognize this tactic. Just don't answer the call....it will confirm that they have a correct number and have struck a nerve.

I received a collection call from this co. for debt owed to my former car insurance co QBE.  His name is Nate Andrews so he claimed.  I was driving on freeway and am hearing impaired.  Had to ask him to repeat all his ques and dialog.  I advised him that I was not going to process anything, until I spoke to QBE to clear things up and as well as my current insurance co GEIKO.  And went on to tell him, how do I know who you are?  What makes you think I would process a payment right there and then because he says so?  He just spoke over me, acted that what I was saying was not important on the matter.  I reminded him that I wrote the co 2 times cancelling my insurance. So I got home and  I called GEIKO; got some details of when my insurance kicked in, then I called QBE--they were very very very helpful. They agreed that I should not just pay any john, dick or harry that comes along. That I was smart to cal them..QBE contracts with 3 diff co. unfortunately they contract with this co. but she was going to report it to QBE, and they asked me to move on and submit a compliant and see if they can just let go of this collections co for the treatment I received from this Nate Andrews.   QBE spent close to an hour to research my case, and  tried to find a way of waiving the fee, but QBE covered me up until GIEKO took over with a 1 mo lapse, which is fine, because if I would have had an accident, QBE covered me....so I do have to pay the lapse..not a problem..but another thing I told Andrews is that if the case is that I do have to pay, I would do it by the end of the day, unfortunately the office central time and I live in phx mountain...by the time I got it settled their office was closed, but he did not even try to tell me about the diff time zones...stupid guy and very unprofessional...

Phone message from Sam Mitchell 888-217-3212 x 6197 saying I need to call him immediately and to leave a number where he can reach me in case I get his answer machine.  I have no clue what its about since I don't owe anybody anything.  I am an old lady but I am wise to their tactics.  Isn't going to work on me boys!!

Just received a call from Dan Roberts saying he is from Brennan & Clark and that it is a legal matter. He said someone from my "organization" needs to return the call by tomorrow close of business. I called and left a message. He said his client is Mt. Vernon Insurance. I have no idea what he is calling about.

The person mentioned Erie insurance..  I have no dealing with any of this.  I lived in a house where a business is now.  I lived there 13+ years ago.  Can you tell me where this insurance company is based.  It's a pretty common name.  I may contact them directly.

I have gotten calls from a Doug Stevens associated with this company.  Like the poster above me, it seems to involve an insurance company.  He's asking about a chimney sweep company in Maryland.  This company address is one I lived at over 13 years ago for less than 6 months to a year.  I never even owned the property.  He's calling me by a name I haven't used in many years, and it's incredibly disconcerting for me to hear that name again...it's a safety thing for me.  So to have this person calling using that name and talking about that address is horrible for me.

Whatsoever actually is all one word and before you criticize someone for their grammar, maybe you should find the comma and shift key on your keyboard.  You must work for Brennan & Clark to be so supportive of them.

This firm has continuously called me using different names and voice disguises. They are calling on behalf of an insurance company, problem is they are calling and asking for one of our field employees and the main contact of the company? Seriously? I'm having my accountant communicate with this insurance company direct to assure there are no previous past debts that we are not aware of. This firm is a joke, they threaten and harass probably from some basement in the middle of Illinois.

These scumbags have been calling me and wont tell me what if any bill this is about. They have threatened me with legal action several times since last summer. They can kiss my a**. I will test people and call their bluff just to see what they are made of. This so called company is a joke.

You don't need one but you might want a lawyer to help you sue these thugs for their lies and threats, which cover for the collector's woeful inability to prove you owe anything.

I received a threatening voice mail from Gayle Zimmerman with Brennan and Clark. She used my married name that I have not had for 5 years now. She claimed she has contacted me before, which she has not, and because of my lack of reply, I have till tomorrow at 4:30 pm to have my lawyers contact her office.
Why would I need lawyers if this is the first she has contacted me about an issue that is at least 5 years old, if there even is an issue?

Thanks for this forum.  They were calling to say my husband owes money, but didn't day what for, and I knew it had to be bogus.  Saved me from calling them back and having them harrass me over nothing!  They said my contact person was a Gale Zimmerman.  I'm not sure how long this has been going on, but I just got a call today.

Got message to call Anthony Holmes at Brenden & Clark extension 6136 file # 12-211702.  Said it was a legal matter and last chance to call and handle it in a professional manner.  Insisted he sent letters and left previous messages.   Won't be taking anymore calls from that number.  Thanks to everyone else who wrote in.

Have been receiving similar calls at my place of employment.  They are not directed to me but are coming in on the general telephone line.  A guy calling from the offices of Brennon & Clark at 888-217-3212 asking for a return call to extension 6125 and to reference file #12-217086 on the return call.  Will not be calling him back.  Just deleted it and wrote it off as a nusiance call.

Got a letter from these scammers signed by Ben Devine.  Called the day I got the letter and left a voice mail. Never heard back.

Callled again and spoke to Devine.  He's an idiot as I asked for a copy of the invoice to see if our company owed the $$ and he couldn't produce it.  Gave me the runaround.

I too have been getting a call from George Daniels. He threatens to take me to court and it will cost so much more money than I owe. He pushes how time is of the essence and there cannot be any delays. I due owe some money to my insurance company but I was waiting for a yearly audit. He claims the only way to settle is for me to give my account number and the routing number to make monthly payments. I refused. I am so glad I stumbled on this site. Thanks for everyone else that wrote in.
