on Jan 24,12 ..I received a phone call as well from a Collection Company that knew who my creditor was and threatened me with a summons and to call another nbr 888-219-6824 ...I gave them my information and come to find out months later the creditor was never paid and that this was a SCAM!!!!!! Please do not give anyone your information without calling the creditor and seeing who they sold the account to...

This number called me. Gave me a 6 digit charge and claim number. Stated I needed to pay them $1455 for a debt or the were taking me to court.
Asked for name and address of the company. They would not provide their information
Asked for debt validity in writing with proof. They said this would not happen.
Advised them I was recording the phone call and they stated they were not comfortable and hung up.
Complete scam!

No such thing, I had an FBI agent (friend) check out this number, it is not associated with any ligit business. I gave him all the info and they are investigating them associated with identity theft and also IRS fraud. The FBI notified the IRS and they issued fraud alerts to the IRS with the persons involved and with the potential victims. And to the two of you pretending to be victims, if u weren't a victim you would not ever have found this site. You are the scam artists. Get a job u loosers

This is a scam. Got a call from a third party, acting on behalf of a collction agency to serve a summonds, the number on the called id was 954 656 1242. They pretend to be a collection agency or saying I needed to call this 888 219 6824 number. The third party, who was quite rude and threatening, gave a claim number to give the company but gave no details as to what the account was about. I calld the 888 number assuming that it was about some unknown debt. They threatened to come to my place of employment to serve me a summons. I gave them the last 4 of my ss# when they pretended to vrify my account ...BIG MISTAKE - THIS IS A SCAM !!!

I recieved a phone call from this number. I am an employer and they gave me informationa and a claim number on a staff of mine. They were very rude and threatening. When I began to explain my concerns, he hung up on me. I quickly called them back and explained the laws right back to them! FURIOUS that they would give out private information to just anyone that answered a telephone line.
