Sue them. It is against the law to be harrazed by a business/college/etc after telling them to remove you. I been called 10 times now. I though it would be obvious to them that being ignored means fu-- off.

I don't understand how these places get my number, because it's a cell phone that I rarely use for anything except texting. I haven't ''requested'' info about ANYTHING, from ANYONE, and I get these hang-up calls constantly. I re-registered all my numbers on the DNC list and they still call. I wish they would stop!

I'm pretty sure it's ITT tech. I requested information via their website about 6 weeks ago. The local campus number and this number have been calling fairly frequently and they never leave a message.

The call and call, and call.....They never stop.!!  Telemarketing should be ABOLISHED!

I have been in contact with ITT tech as well, so I agree that it must be them. My only concerns about it though are:

a) I have been contacting them back and forth with a different number (their main number) so what is this number for?

b) This number called me WHILE i was in my visitation meeting at the campus, so what the heck?

You can call them back to remove you from their list. I just did and they were polite and no questions asked. :)

If you are polite to them and speak clearly and be exact on what you are looking to do, then they can help out wonderfully.

Its when people are unpolite is when creditors and telemarketers are evil. I've been called by many creditors (had a bad year) and I work with them politely and they are more than happy to work with you and what you can afford. It's all about how you approach them.

Besides, the ones that are rude, you speak sweetly and they will either change their tune or get even madder and that just makes me laugh.

And NO, I never worked as a creditor or telemarketer, but I did work on a gov't helpdesk, and customer service at a Meijers, and it all works as I described above.

I was called, so I just called them back... it rang once and then an automatic voice message says "We're sorry, all our agents are assisting other callers at the moment. Please hold, and we will assist you in the order you called." Then music played... I naturally got impatient and hung up, 2 minutes later I called back and someone answered, but this time nobody was there. I just heard a quiet buzzing sound in the background, and it would stop whenever I tried to speak... then start again. Nobody answered still so I said "F you if you can't even help your customers", just to see what happened... still no reply, so I hung up. I'm curious.

the number is for ITT Tech, its a service number. if you call the number back you can be removed from there calling list.

I once told them that I don't know how they got my number? And I am not interested in any of their programs. So please delete my number. They keep on calling me every day. What the heck with them? I don't understand. Getting irritated day by day.

Yea don't ever give these guys your number or they will keep spamming it. I was looking into some colleges and universities and requested an info packet on their web site as well as some universities i was considering going to, devry and ecpi. the only places i got info about colleges from were the "real"  universities and colleges. however devry, ecpi and itt have sent me nothing and jus keep spam calling my phone 2-3 times a day every day for the last 2 months. i didn't want to talk to anyone; i just wanted a package sent to me about the college. GOSH! so annoying! as far as im concerned they're jus telemarketers. just send me my dang info packet and let me make my own decision!

I get a call from this number every day.  It is always a hangup

I thought for a week or so that this number was a bill collector, so I would cringe when this number showed up on the caller I.D.  Apparently, My Hubby talked to someone at ITT Tech recently, and, after reading this, I'm quite sure that's who that is... *sigh of relief*... Still though, they are calling daily.  It sucks.

I don't know you or your number, but you wasted 1:22 min of my phone time with NO message, if you can't speak, DON'T call

This people insist on calling over and over again without leaving a message.

CALLER ID SAYS FROM "RODALE INC", CALLS, NOONE ANSWERS, LEAVES NO MESSAGE. CALLS ABOUT 3 TIMES A WEEK ON A GOOD WEEK.

CALLS, NOONE ANSWERS, LEAVES NO MESSAGE. CALLS 5-6 TIMES A WEEK, VERY ANNOYING. THE ONLY THING CALLER ID SAYS IS "800 SERVICE".

Got a call from the same number and they asked for someone who does not live here, asked if they would like to leave a message and the jerk said, "If the person doesn't live there, then there is no reason to leave a message" and hung up. I suggest everyone add their numbers to the National Do Not Call List...I did and solicitors will not be able to contact you.

I get calls from this number 4 to 5 times a week at all times of the day and when I answer there is no one there.

These morons have called and called and called!  I am losing my patience!  Last night (I knew we were receiving a call from this business), the girl that asked for me & was quite rude and I pleasantly asked that they delete my number from their calling list!  And guess what happened again this evening--they called again!  I yelled at the man who said he was calling from IT and when I insisted using a few choice words that he delete our number, he laughed.  What an obnoxious moron!  I wish I could contact someone to get these people to leave us alone!  I have high blood pressure and don't need these scumbag calls!
