i have been reading about this bcn recovery who called my boyfriends ex wife to find me.She relayed the message but even i did not know her number. And like everyone else wanted money or i would get jail time. Iam out of work an trying to get disability started but did come up with enough to keep myself out of jail as they said. Investigator Jeff Thompson called looking for relatives of ---- (the EX-wife of my husband). He also called my sister in Houston. He said ---- had been named in a civil complaint and wanted us to have her contact him at 888-223-4801 and refer to a specific case number.

I have continued to get my family harassed by people claiming to represent  Greenman Schneider and associates at many of my family's places of residence. If this legal firm really exists, what state are they licensed to practice law in?? what bar association are they registered with?

This company is out of control calling people and their parents.... I also got a call from this company stating that they are going to file a suite against me in my COUNTY when I asked who the original collecter was they said Po Soultions a Pay day loan. When I told them I have never had a pay day loan they started to get angry telling me they have Pending charges against me ...and I can request the information I to the judge... They called themselves National Attorney Nework the guy that contacted me was Grover Martin (x314) .....Seriouslly what type of name is Grover Martin WtF .........I will be contacting the attorney generals office and BBB along with sending a cease letter to them .... They also called my fathers house almost giving him a heart attack because he told them that they where sending the sheriff to arrest me for fraud.....

I have received the same call from the same 888 number.  The man that is calling me is referring to himself has Mr. Martin or Bartin.  This too is about a payday loan he says I owe and is trying to say there will be civil and criminal charges because of this.  They have yet to provide proof on paper that this is owed or the actual company that is demanding money.  Which I suspect to be nobody but them.  I have since sent them a cease and desist letter and have contacted the BBB and logged a compliant with them.  My next step is going to the attorney general.  These type of peditors need to be stopped and these kind of people have no respect for anybody or themselves.  If such a creditor is looking for a debtor then why was it so easy for these idiots to find me?  He couldn't answer that either.  I have never been unlisted but yet have not received anything for anyone else except for their harrassing phone calls.  I am very thankful I googled the number and found this message board.  We have to stick together.

My dad just recieved a call for me at his house from these people. The ladies name is Judy Rugsby at 704-840-1430 and 888-223-4801 Ext 316. They are tring to pull the whole call me in five days and we can settle this out of court. Ha you cant get blood from a stone.

These people called my cousins house asking for me. When I called to try and ask what this was about all they kept telling me is that a criminal case was pending against me for breach of contract to a creditor. They gave me the name of the creditor however I settled my account with them years ago. When I asked for them to send me a copy of this so called contract that I breached they became very aggressive and just kept saying that I would go to jail if I didnt pay them. I asked for their contact info so that I could have my attorney contact them and they hung up on me. thank you to everyone on here for all of the helpful info about the cease and decist letter and to report them to the attorney generals office.

I had a message on my answering machine from Mark Baldwin at (888) 223-4801, x317 asking my husband and I about a contract with somebody who listed us as a reference. I am unable to clearly understand the name, but I returned his call and left him a message that we don't know the person he called about.

My mother (whom I haven't lived with for over 20 years) received a call from a so called "National Attorneys Network" stating to my mother that they're calling on behalf of a litigation and are investigating a civil matter with me.  When I called the number they left 1-888-223-4801, the first person who answered would only tell me that the business name was National Attorneys Network and would not give me their address of FIN.  I was transferred to a Jeff Thompson who was very RUDE!!  He threatened me with a civil suit claiming a "breach of contract" but would not state with who.  Because I was so called "calling the shots", he got upset with me and told me I should drive down there and take care of my business.  Hello, they would'nt even give me their address, how am I supposed to take care of business.  Is this company for real?

I got a call from this number 980-939-0260 (return  call to 888-223-4081)towards the end of last year. The caller was Jeff Thompson from BCN Financial Services and he advised me that I had a pending civil action lawsuit against me from a past due payday loan. I thought it was legit and offered to settle the debt. When reviewing my bank statements for the deductions, I discovered that the payments were being taken out by Shepsu Financial Services in Buffalo, NY. Google that name and you get all kinds of fraud complaints about the scam going on with this company too. Do not give them your account information. This is a fraud activity. There was even a huge article on Yahoo a few weeks ago detailing all the fraud collection practices being based out of the Buffalo area. I was able to file a dispute with the bank to get my money back. And now that the January payment is being declined, they are calling me again.

Another one to watch out for goes under the name Hearshe Kemp LLC. They got me for $350 earlier this year and I cannot dispute because of how long ago it was. BBB was unable to do anything for this one because they have since moved, so a complaint was sent to the NY Attorney General's office.

Sounds to me like you either work with this company or you are the owner of this company. First of all you need a new attorney, second a debit collector can not garnish your wages (at least in TX they can't). You need to get all your facts together before you start trying to feed people a bunch of sh--.

I received a call from a Investigator Lane claiming that someone had filed a criminal complaint against me and the local authorities were involved and if I did not response within 2hrs they would be more charges filed against me.  I did not return the call and have been told to file a compliant with the Oregon Attorney General.

This company called my brother and spoke with my sister in law. They told her there was a warrant out for my arrest on a fraud case due to me not showing up for my court date. Of course she called my mother right away who then called me to let me know. I told her if there was a warrant out for my arrest they'd just show up at the door and arrest me not call a random family member out of the blue and inform them of this.Secondly I've never done anything illegal in the first place.

Have received phone call from 888-223-4801 someone name Investigator Bradshaw.. saying that civil complaints have been filed in ... county regarding a creditor that I have not had in over 10+ years.. Now there saying that I need to get an attorney and that the sheriff's office is going to serve me with a lawsuit. This is very upsetting to me because now there calling my parents who I have never given that phone # to anyone before saying that I have listed them as a contact.. Ive never talked to these people before.  They gave me some case # that has my dad's first name in it.  I thought there was some statue of limitation on credit card debt.. Is this a scam?

If you get a call from the company, report them. They are running a scam as far as I can see, they left a threating masseage on my recorder about some guy I have nothing to do with, threating me if I did not call them back and give them information.

When I called them at first, they refused to tell me what type of company they were, but just said they were investigators......yea sure!

When I call back a diffrent lady refused to say what they do....not

The third call they some lady said the work for attorney....sure they do.... not.

Please beware this company would not even tell me what BCN stood for without putting me on hold first.....beware of scams and fraud people can get your info and try to take you.....Im going to report them to every place i can. Its a ploy used by collection agencies that have been sued over and over for illegal collection practices.   They get a fine - which is just a slap on the wrist - they change the business name and go right back to breaking state and fed laws to collect debt they ARE NOT LEGALLY ENTITLED TO COLLECT.

Got a call from this company. Said they were looking for a James Young. My last name is not Young. I called back and talked to a receptionist and explained that I was not James Young nor do I know a James Young and still got a call back from an investigator by the name of Thompson. I have been trying to call back to this company for the 2nd time and all I get is the circuits are busy and now the line is dead/busy. I am hoping they are now shut down.

I UNDERSTAND ALL THE CONCERNS ON THIS BLOG...BUT WHAT A LOT OF YOU FAIL TO REALIZE I WAS A LITTLE STUBBORN TO THINK THAT BCN RECOVERY  WAS JUST ANOTHER COLLECTIONS COMPANY CALLING ABOUT SOME NOTHING CALLING MY EX-FAMILY MEMBERS OR IN-LAWS HOWEVER  I DECIDED THAT THEY SHOULD TAKE ME TO COURT AND AND I HAD AN ATTORNEY...BUT ONCE I GOT TO COURT I WAS SUED FOR A LARGER AMOUNT THEN BCN ORGINALLY CALLED ME ABOUT.
