Something happened to me. They left a note without knocking or anything. When I called (repeatedly) to complain, I was hung up on each time. I called back and pretended to be interested, they said that they were a company called 'Security Solutions.'

I see in previous messages that their notes listed a company: "GE 2GIG" - the note on my door today didn't have a company name, nor a logo. I won't be calling and submitted a comment to the BBB, but wanted folks to know this group might be trying to get trickier.

I was home. Nobody knocked on my door. The note said final attempt. I knew it was a scam. My elderly husband wanted to call thinking it was a package for us. I said NO! Checked Google so here I am. Shouldn't someone report this to the local police.

Yup.  I got one of these notices.  It looked very suspicious.  I called and got a recorded message that no one was available at that extension.  So I decided to look the number up and here I am.  At least 2 major signs that caught my attention right off the bat - no delivery company name on the note, the FINAL ATTEMPT is pre-checked (and there were no previous attempts).  Is this legal?

Received same note on door while I was home from GE 2GIG.  No one rang the bell..just posted the 'final attempt' delivery notice.  Calling 888-224-1377 results in an automated response that said 'no one is available to take your call right now, goodbye'.  So either the scam has been shut down, or I am going to a call at another point based on calling them from my home#.  I am reporting to the BBB.

These people are scum of the earth. I also got the note on the door and called. A girl answered and I asked what this was about. She went into a pitch about crime in my area and we were one of ten homes picked to receive a high tech security system. I told her I already have a system and am very happy with it. She asked how long I've had it and told her forever. She then proceed to use vulgar language implying that I had the system since I came from my mothers $%^&*. As I said, scum of the earth. I called back and spoke to a supervisor and repeated what the girl said and the male supervisor could care less.

Got the same notice on my door and thought it must have been for one of the neighbors.  I called a few times, but never got a real person who answered.  I decided to Google the number and thank you all for letting me know it's a scam.  What people will do for business is disgusting.

Just received a 'delivery attempt notice' with GE and 2GIG Technologies in the "FROM" section.  Seems like all neighbors have the same notice on our door.  Tried to call the number and message said no one was available to take the call, goodbye and was disconnected.  This HAS to be illegal in some way.  Are they really trying to 'case our house' as the previous person stated?  I am contacting the police to have them look into this scam.

You do not want these crooks casing your neighborhood. Police will usually run them out of town.

Fake Package Delivery Notice was on the door.
Top of the Notice says "Delivery Attempt Notice' and Final Attempt box is Checked in RED.

If you call the number 1-888-224-1377 they answer as GE Distribution.

The pitch is you are a winner today, the prize is a $2000 2GIG Technologies Wireless Security System.
This is as far as I would listen.

My teenager was home alone and was expecting a package from UPS.  So she panicked when she saw the 'FINAL ATTEMPT' scare tactic.  The paper looked like a UPS delivery notice and she fell for it and called the number 1-888-224-1377 with the intention of rescheduling the delivery.  Well that didn't turn out well because the girl that answered manipulated her into giving my name and cell phone number and even what time I came home from work by telling her that it was not a package it was a document and it was was not addressed to her and asked her the name of the owner of the house so she verify if the was for them.  She of course gave my name and the girl confirmed that it was for me.  She then asked her how she could contact me and what time to call because she could make arrangements so the document would not be returned to sender.  So of course she gave her the information thinking she was helping.  Of course I get a callf from (954)765-6235 precisely at the time my daughter had given her.  The girl acted as if she was calling as we had arranged.  I would not identify myself and asked her her name and she said Sandy (probably not her name) and started her sales pitch about the high crime in my area.  Needless to say the conversation went downhill from there as I was furious that they would try manipulate people using such unethical business practices.  My daughter has just learned a lesson about how easy it is to be scammed. Very dangerous especially with all this identity theft now. Lesson Learned.

I received a same note but I did not call them because I saw a man staked papers on all doors in the neighborhood . They are trying to find customers to sell his products and take real datas for future calls or mails. The note came from GE and 2GIG Tecnnologies (both in the same note). I think that is not the correct way to find customers.

Received a note on my home gate that looked like a delivery from GE.  Thought it was there by mistake and called to report an error in delivery, immediately started getting asked questions and then the person hung up.  When I called again they tried to sell me a security system.  Seems like a scam to me.
