They are scammers...ignore them. They have more legal eagles and qualified authorities on their tails. They should be the ones paying attention to the illegal practices they are responsible for.

They keep calling over a book that was sent back to the school bookstore that I rented.  Finals were late because the school was closed because of storms, I dropped it off after my final and that was the last I heard about it until this law firm started harassing us about 3 months later. My mom even filled out something for this "Law Firm" stating that the book was returned at their request and they said that's all she had to do and all the calls stopped.

A year later we started getting calls again and they haven't stopped.  My mom told them that the school accepted the book back, if they want the money for it then they need to send it back to me, the exact book!  I don't think they're a real law firm that's why I Googled them.  I found out they were using a different name before.  How can they legally do that?

Same think with me, the only problem is that they gave me the name of the exact book and when it was rented out of my bookstore. After that I called again and again for other "cases". I did some research and found out this was a scam. BE CAREFUL

Says they have a legal urgent case against me... I've never even heard of krista maroni before and it's getting annoying. I feel like if it was true I would have been mailed something. Idk how they got my number.

Keeps harassing my phone

They told me they were a law firm from somewhere and I owed money for a book (which I do to my school) and I panicked and gave my bank account info... I canceled my card on the same day after my friend told me to look into it

and I'm a student too. SSC is going to sue a student..

They say they're an attorney for Seminole State College and going to sue me for returning my book late

Say they have a Urgent case pending against me for something. Say to Call back immediately. I think I would know if I had a case against me as you have to be served and properly notified. Although they gave me this case number it has NOTHING to do with me at all...I don't write checks or live any where near where they say it was written... I didn't give them any information since its a damn scammer!

Wow, they're the "Meryl Law Firm" in this post? I just got a call from these criminals this morning and they're going by "Law Offices of Krista Moroney" now. WTF?! Do they NOT realize that people often look up numbers now?!?!? This is why crime doesn't pay, because criminals like this are IDIOTS!
