The guy just called me and tried to sound really scary, but I already knew it was a scam. Process servers don't call ahead to try to meet with people. That ruins the surprise of being served. Also, if you are really being sued or charged with something, they aren't going to say call this number to stop from arrested. He will try to scare people into calling but don't fall for it. I'm tempted to call to see who it is. If you do call the number back out of curiosity, don't give out any information to these scammers.

The call showed up as UNAVAILABLE but the "process server" gave me this number to call back. He said something about being sued for fraud and bad checks and if I didn't respond they would send out a bench warrant. He tried to be really scary but I have learned from the last "process server" who called me to make an appointment to serve me papers, that this is fake.

he's not from the County Clerk's office....NO ONE from any repritable company talks to ANYONE the way they do!  Do not talk to them...they called me ignorant...then, at the end of my conversation...I asked him what company he was with...this is the EXACT response I got from him: "yo momma!"  I swear to you!!!  He said "yo momma!"  Wow!

I spoke to a man who gave me this phone number to have someone call back and said it was in reference to a check and that he was with the County Clerk's office.
