I receive repeated calls from these people claiming to be from some company name like Auto Discounters in Seminole Florida.  The caller ID number changes and I've called the numbers back and in all cases it is a disconnected number.  They say that I'm chosen to receive a $100 gift card valid in major stores like Target and Walmart.  They try to get my credit card for $3.95 shipping/handling.   Unlike the other complaints posted here, they do not already have any of my card info.  Every time the caller has a heavy accent which I'm pretty sure is Indian.  

Call me silly but if they call when I'm not busy I found it a good game to tease them and tell them I want to pay cash for the $3.95.  Sometimes they transfer me to a "supervisor" who repeats the pitch to get my credit card.  Last time when they asked for my mailing address I told them my name was Eric Holder with a Washington DC address.  The idiots being probably in India don't even recognize that name.  LOL.

No need to worry dear.. just call them and tell them to cancel the services. I did..! if they again ask fr info , u cn provide them cz they already hv it...!

Its not a scam ppl. I've researched about it thoroughly and got to know that it is just a simple promotional company like thousand of same sorts in the market. they are promoting some product so just providing a gas voucher for free. Check out BBB site info abt this company. Its okay..! Though their calls from 8 am to 9 pm seems bit annoying bt the callers are always polite to me and sometimes evn do light talks with me.. ! Its okay..!

i found this web site "http://www.americanautodiscounts.com/tandc.html". It says I can cancel payment if I call them from 1 (866) 901-5917. Is it true? do you know anything about that? I will call but I'm afraid if they want my informations again to cancel. I dont want to give my information again. Please give me a suggestion. Should i only the inform my bank or police, or should i call them back and try to cancel?

Hello, I got a call from this number several times today. I'm new in USA and I believe them. they say I won 200$ gas and ? bought some drinks from gas station yesterday so I thougth they call because of that. They push me the say yes everything, when I say no they said: " there is not any charge you need to say all question yes" So they made me believe after an hour. I gave my informations. I dont know what should I do right now or what will be happen. Please help what should ? do right now? I feel myself such an idiot:(

They have tried me twice today and I ignored the call... no message...I tried to call them back and it rings back busy, imagine that.

Received a call on two different ocassions. Didn't answer the first time and picked up the second. They were trying to give me a free 2 night stay in a hotel. They had some of my info and wanted me to verify some of the info. I told them that i was turing this number in to the cops and the person on the line was at lost for words. I think this is a scam for sure.

They called me saying I won some type of trip or voucher. I think its a scam.

Calls are made but no answer from the caller.

I've received multiple calls from this number trying to give me $120 in "free" rebates for gas.  I've asked to be removed from the calling list with no success.  Next step is a lawyer.  I am registered on the do not call list.

I did not answer it.

I finally picked up on the 3rd call, and promptly asked to be removed from their list.

They called 2 times in one hour... I picked up on the second phone call; there was no one at the other end. I put it on my reject list on my cell phone. So far no more calls. that was june 22nd.

I get call every day all different times. They want me to give them 70 dollars for a magazine that I did not order. They are trying to tell me that they been sent to my house for six months now. Never received magazine and they know all my info. I so annoyed

Received call on my cell from 888-225-4271.  It's a relatively new cell number (for me, at least) so I don't know how these telemarketers got it. At any rate, I did not answer.  Will try to 'opt-out' on the National Do Not Call Registry (donotcall.gov).  I know the callers are just doing their job, but I don't feel I need to be overly polite with them.  I just cut them off in mid sentence and tell them I am not interested and to remove me from their list and to not share or sell my contact information.  Don't know if that works, but it sure makes me feel better!!
