You can actually buy a list of friends and relatives of someone using their phone number I have found.

I'm not in Ohio, Indiana/ I would love to sign a suit against them they are un real the number they call me from is 212-776-3124 Mr Rizzo from William Scott & Assoc. He just yells at me " You will be exposed" He call friends and relatives and tells them his story which is illegal. About a check fraud I don't and havn't had a checking account in 8 years? How do I make him stop?

my dad and his donwnstairs neighbor got a phone call from this number...the person left a message on my dad's machine as Tony..and if anybody knew me to contsct him immediatly his extension number was 107...he told my dads downstairs neighbor that he had records of her calling me and that I had made phone calls from that number...I have never been in her house...
This Tony person then proceeded in telling her that I have many civil warrants out for me...
I dont know who this person is or how he got my dad's neighbors number..he is very aggressive and this seems very fishy to me

Got a VM stating I was being investigated.  Comapany turns out to be William Scott & Associates.  I have no clue what they want

A relative of mine received a call from 888-229-5566 requesting payment of a large amount. He was threatened with warrants for his arrest if this was not done. My relative requested a paper trail to substanciate the  validity of this request. So far nothing has turned up.  It turns out that they are a collection/firm out of Tennessee and also out of Georgia.  I will take the opportunity to make a police report and hopefully these scammers will be arrested.

I have been being harrassed by calls from this company for someone who no longer has my phone number and whom I don't even know!  I have asked them repeatedly to remove my number from this person's account, but they haven't done so, and continues to call. I received another call today and again asked that this number be removed from this account as it is inaccurate for the person they are looking for, and the man who called cursed me and hung up! The call back number they have left is 888-229-5566, but the number that shows in my caller ID is (312) 229-0201. When I called this number, I got "William, Scott and Associates".

A MR. Darden called and harassed me also. Told me I was nothing and was running around town writing bad checks and he'd be at my job with the sherriff. I've never spoken to anyone so unprofessional in my life. He was yelling and cursing...telling me I didn't have a license...(which I do) and then hung up on me. I believe soemthing needs to be done because they shouldnt be able to call and harass people the way they have. Who can be called on these people???

the same thing happened to me.  they keep calling my parents & telling them i am involved in a criminal fraud case & that i need to call them within 24 hrs. or i could be looking at jail time. ????  i am not a criminal, worst thing on my record  i got a ticket for driving with an expired license.  I have lived in the same place for 12 years.  Why do they contact my parents & get them worked up?   I also took out a payday loan 2 -1/2  to 3 yrs ago but paid it back on time.

These people called me as well and when I told them to go ahead and take me to court they hung up on me. They told me I was "stealing"  when I didn't pay a debt from 2 years or so ago.  I was unwilling to hear them out after that.

Some idiot named Mr. Darden of William Scott & Associates in GA called my cousin in Ohio. Threatened criminal charges which is in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. My grandmother just called and told me that I got a call from this number stating that they were going to issue a warrant for my arrest for fraudulent checks due to an unpaid payday loan in 2008.I paid back all my loans which I have only had 2 in my whole life plus why are they contacting me now in the middle of 2010 if this so-called offense happened in 2008 in a city and state I haven't lived in for a year and a half. Im very easy to find so why call my grandmother"s home disturbing her? They kept saying I could go to jail for fraud. Huh? Lol. Then the person I spoke to was super ghetto. I am african american but I don't speak in the unprofessional tone that he was speaking in. Ridiculous. I'm not going to worry about it. If the police haven't knocked at my door about this is 2 years... Im not going to be worried about it now.

Some jack*** just called and left a msg on my vm with regards to fraud.  Never identified who he was looking for.  I called the number back and found out it was a collection agency by the name of Williams Scott & Assoc.  Extension was 113.  Guy did not identify himself and I told him I didn't owe jack and he wasn't getting anything out of me.  He promptly said he'd forward my info to the local authorities.  I called back and just pressed "0".  I gave the male person on the other end of the phone the third degree.  They were looking for someone by the last name of Blakely and that ain't us.  I also told him that you don't call up and leave a message on someones phone when their name is on there and it clearly isn't the person you are looking for.  Then I told him that he flat out lied about it being about "fraud".  Beware!

These people called my 80 year old mother and told her that she was complicant in my obligations and that she would be charged with conspiracy to commit check fraud if she didn't give them my whereabouts.
The funny thing is, I'm easy to find.
They also called my brother and his wife and threatened them with criminal charges.
I called them back and gave them hell.  They are breaking the law.
They were ALL AFRICAN AMERICANS.

This Nuber has called me at work and harrased me as well as told my business to my co-workers then to top it off this lady called my mother and told her all my bussiness and on top of that told her that I would be facing criminal charges with a felony well I keep looking up these people and they are collectors from a collection agency and they cant not harrass you at work or give any information out to others we do have rights and we are the victum.
