Ive been receiving callso from this number posted.  U all say that its XM Radio but ive never set up an XM Radio acct.  What could be the issue?

It's XM radio for sure. I talked to the guy and told him to stop calling.

Keep on getting calls from this people, even answered and let them know that I was not interested. However, they keep on calling, and calling and calling. They are a pest!

I'm also I got phone call this number many time. and she said your Vehicle insurance is alrady expire.
I felt afraid. so i said send me email about this detail but she didn't send me.

I have asked to be removed from the list like 4-6 times and they still keep calling me.  How do I get them to STOP!  I am on the phone with the rep now and they take their SWEET A** time.  Unfortunately the car I have comes with this service and I wish XM would do a better job of updating their records.  SUCH A PAIN!!!

If you work for the company - XM Radio - you know that when requested not to contact regarding the service, as many people have noted they have done, it not only behooves you to do so, it is also the law.

Fortunately for me, each recorded call is a violation of the Washington State anti-spam laws and legislation, especially after being noted that I am not interested in your contact.

Yes, I'm aware this is your job. I hang up on you because after I speak to your representatives, politely, that I am not interested and have the ability to use the internet to reactivate if I AM interested, your representatives continue to call me.

I don't need you to help me save money.

I don't need you to call me repeatedly to offer me a deal I'm clearly not interested in.

I don't need you to attempt to hardsell me over and over again.

I don't care if you think I'm rude; your system called me at 9PM when I had to get up at 4 to go to work. You are calling at inconvienient times.

I don't care if it's your job - if you have such a thin skin that you cannot understand that people do not want to talk to you when they've been off the service for a long while, you should understand it has nothing to do with YOU and everything to do with your system.

If you do not take me off your list, under Washington State law after being informed I want no further contact, I can collect up to $500 from your company for each separate instance. You should know this; you should be aware that choosing to "mess" with people who have politely requested you knock it off may make you giggle in a petty vengenance sort of way, but it inevitably results in a fat hefty bill for your company.

I don't want you to be a jerk. Your company probably doesn't want you to be a jerk, either. That's because if you act like a jerk to me, or try to override my objections, I'll happily ask for your manager. If I don't get your manager, I'll call back and ask to be removed, and to have the last person's call reviewed. See, I've also got the ability to record YOUR conversation and play it back to, say, the FCC.

If I put myself on the DNC list and then sever the relationship by notifying your company, you are then in violation.

And incidentally, it's spelled "paid", not "payed".

It is XM radio. just call them back and tell them to leave u alone and they will. hope this helps

I get at least 4-5 calls from this number/day for the last week. They don't leave a voice mail message, just when i don't pickup, they hang up.
You would figure, that if the person you are calling, doesn't want to pick up and talk to you, they would stop calling....But that's not the case.
Anyway, whoever these people are, they continue to call until 9p.
I wish they would stop!! My mom recently passed away, so i'm not in the mood for their constant bothersome calls!!!!!!!

Did a google search on this number, it comes up on an XM radio co.

For me it was simply a courtesy call to inform me my account was about to expire.  No big deal.  Answer the call, either upgrade or tell them you're no longer interested and the calls stop.  The person on the other end was polite and the call took about three seconds of my time.

I do have to admit I wouldn't have know who was calling had I not checked the number here, first.  Allowing the company name to show on the Caller ID would be helpful.

I have never had a XM subscription and they are calling me all times of the day and night. When I did answer they asked for someone that I never heard of. I am sending this one to my Attorney General, maybe their office can get them to stop.

I keep getting this call also.  AND I TOO WAS ONCE A TELEMARKETER.  Answer the call, and nicely say you don't want the offer and would like to be removed from the list.  Trust me, if you be rude, they can reroute your number to be called again.  Telemarketers are watched by Managers occasionally by listening in on a call, and when a phone floor consists of ~100 people, and managers don't do it every day, they can get away with putting your number in as a call back.

SOLUTION:  Answer the call, be nice, ask them to remove your name, hang up.  After 3 or so calls, don't continue to answer anymore, the automated dialers eventually push out the # (faster if the telemarketer labeled your call as a "REMOVAL" and not a "Non-Answer" or "Call-Back".

I just got a new car, and I'm in the same situation.  Take me advice.

IF you had any business with XM, (free trial, etc) then they can call you, the DO NOT CALL list does not apply.

This number calls about 2 times a day.  I believe it is XM Radio as recently purchased a car that had complimentary XM Radio for 3 months and these calls began after the 3 month period lapsed.

Don't you get it?  We don't want you calling us anymore!  Get a different job if you don't like it when we hang up on you.  If I answered all the telemarketing calls I get I'd get nothing done.  I don't want to buy anything from anyone calling me on the phone.  If I want to buy something I will CALL YOU!  Get it?  DO NOT CALL ME!  The Do Not Call list means DO NOT CALL.  Don't just keep us in your computer system and keep redialing.  You arn't helping anybody.  You are annoying everybody.  DO NOT CALL.  We don't want you to call.  Stop calling.

"And when you do say hello.. and we dont answer after the first couple of hello's.. the reason is because sometimes your name doesnt pop up until a couple of seconds later.. so we cant just tell you who we are calling for..."

Duuuude, what a load of crap!!! Do you know how many companies make such dumb calls to people who have a lot better to do than to wait until someone answers? If I pick up my phone and no one answers, then they are being extremely rude!!!
If it is indeed XM, then I have no clue why they are bothering me... but since I am on the no call list, I'll try to figure out what legal steps I can take here.

got a letter from XM Radio today, have owned new truck for 1 month and they are already calling wanting to renew package, got a phone call today also

Whether you are rude or polite being harassed is illegal no matter how you look at it, if you ask to be removed from the calling list in any way, shape, or form, you should be, it is illegal to not be, the Federal Do Not Call list may not protect you from services you signed up for, but the act of telling someone not to call you should.  I worked for Overstock.com and still agree with all the complaints.  Either way you look at it harassment is harassment especially daily at 3:30 in the morning.

I would also like to add that when i do answer the phone I wait for several moments and no one answers, if your really there it's not that hard to say hi even if you don't have a name in front of you.  But usually when I call back I get a recording saying the number is out of service, the only time it went through the recording said the office was closed I also have phone logs showing dates and times I have been called, wonderful thing about cell phones.  If only one person complained about constant calls even after they have asked to be removed from the call list, that would be a different situation, but they have multiple complaints.

Mmmmm, if I wanted the XM radio don't you think I would have paid for it before my free subscription ran out? Thanks for your posts letting me know who it is.  Next time I'll answer the phone and tell them I don't want their stupid service that cut out on me almost everytime I drove under a large patch of trees. :)

I just leased a new car that has XM in it not even a month ago. My 3 month trial doesn't end until January. I've been getting 2-3 calls a day lately and no messages. I won't be keeping XM if they are going to just hastle me about signing up! I'll stick with Sirius since they sound better anyway.. XM better not mess up my Sirius now that they've merged!

Those of you posting on here claiming you work for XM and typing with all caps, bad grammar and a crappy attitude...and then having the nerve to tell us to buy your service in order you to quit bugging us, you're not helping your company out at all.  Go ahead and keep playing keyboard warrior.  Hope you feel better about yourselves.

XM people are ridiculous!!!! Obviously this is a bad time to be spending money on a radio I dont use (I use my Ipod connector). So when the free trial expired I just let it do so. Well XM called me constantly, 3 times a day! I'd be in the middle of teaching and my phone is vibrating in my pocket. So finally they called after 5 and I answered. I told the lady very politely that times are tough and I cannot afford spending the money to keep a radio I don't use. She then INSULTED me, by telling me the offer is affordable to everyone! I am between subbing and part time work, so I barely have money for the groceries and this woman insults me by saying that I can afford $30 a month for the subscription! She wouldn't let me off the phone so finally I had to tell her in the only manner I knew would deter her by saying, "Ma'am I know you are doing your job, but please, I said no and no means no. I DO NOT have the extra money to spend on such a stupid thing so please stop talking and take me off the list! I am NOT RENEWING FOR ANY PRICE!" I was going to renew after I got a steady job but now definitely not!!! Their customer service SUCKS.

And now, 2 weeks later they got my cell number and are calling that!
