Junk health care fax. My solution is to dial *67 to block my caller ID, then call them and put the call on hold to tie up their line. Enough of those and they might rethink their program.

*67 does not work for blocking toll-free numbers

Got the fax, called the number, they asked if I was wanting healthcare, I said yes and they tried to sign me up on the spot! No questions asked, no information given.

Once I balked they hung up on me.

I continuously keep getting unwanted faxes from 888-229-8054 and I have entered my number to be removed numerous times, so I called the number to speak with someone to let them know I never inquired about any healthcare and do not want to receive their faxes and they hung up on me.

Rec'd a junk fax from 888-229-8054, but as with all of these scam-type faxes, no company name, no street address, city, state, zip, or direct line. Nope, can't have any of that. After all then you'd know who they really were. A bunch of cockroaches working in the shadows, deceptive as ever!

And 888-473-3808 as an enrollment number

What you can do is notify the company you work for and typically your IS team can block the number.

This group uses FAX spam to allegedly sell health insurance with the phone number (888) 229-8054.  I called and tried to find out about their company.  But they would immediately ask you for enrollment.  I said to them I needed to know about their company first.  They only info is they are "Health Care Solutions" then they hanged up on me when kept asking for more info.   2nd called yield that they are from South Dakota, without giving out any other information, then hanged up on me again.  I spoke to the rep Roger without getting any more information.  When I called back asked for Roger, he said to me "Oh!... the phone harasser again?"  Either because of the phone I used from other place or my accent, Roger picked up on me with a racially oriented statement "When you came to America, you should...".  
Bunch of snaky people really need help for getting some sunshine from the dark of the society.  I frankly have doubt on their real purpose of their work - who would buy insurance from a bunch of this kind without being able to tell people who they are?  From the posting I read, calling them bunch of jerks would be a compliment to them.  I really think that the legal system should act on them to prevent them from hurting innocent people.

888 229 8054 Health care scam / spamm from Fax

I kept getting these "health care rate plans...last day to enroll" faxes with no company name printed on them. I tried blocking my number, it just made more of them come. So, I found this site and decided to call them. The first man I spoke identified the company as "health care solutions" I barely got a chance to say 2 words to the guy before he hung up on me. I called back, getting a different guy and he didn't identify the company at all. I asked for a manager and he said there wasn't one available. He again identified the company as "health care solutions" and he took my fax number to remove it from their list, though I told him I had done that already. I asked him for his name and he said, "It makes NO difference what MY name is."  and I said, "Yes it does, I want proof of this conversation..." and then hung up on me. AWFUL!!!

Same as what everyone else is saying. I found the faxes too good to be true and too shady to be trusted so I did research and ended up here. I just filed my complaint with the FCC. I hope these losers stop faxing me. I'm getting pretty ticked.

I got the fax from 18882298054 with the title Healthcare Rate Plans. They try to get your personal infomation and bank infor over the phone. It is scam.

i just called and asked for andy.  the guy wanted to know what company i was calling.  i said i wasn't calling a company, i was calling andy. so is there an andy there?  he said "we have like 60 people working here."  i said "are any of them named andy?"  he said he wasn't sure.  I said i would call back later.

Maybe when i call back, i'll ask for the deep voiced man.

It takes hard work to get unhooked from these scammers.  First you have to document the times you received these blast faxes and if you were suckered into calling that number you have to document what the marketing agent told you. (what ever you do do not give them access to your checking account) or the next sound you hear will be the sound of your money being sucked out of your account.  Register written complaints with your state Insurance Department and your state Attorney Generals office.  This must be done in order for the authorities to understand how big a problem this is.  Remember the names and the phone numbers change but the scam is still the same.  Health Insurance is a licensed product that has to be sold by a licensed agent.  If they won't tell you who they are, where they are and their state license number, save yourself some grief and just hang up.

Be aware folks, according to the Do Not Call Registry, you can place your home and business fax on the Do Not Call List and these people can continue to send spam faxes!  The only way to get it to stop is to file a complaint with the FCC.  You can include copies of each fax you receive.  It's a shame companies and people with personal fax numbers are the ones that have to take so much time out of their days to get this crap to stop.  I printed my received report and there are 26 spam faxes in 4 days!  That's costing my company money to pay for all the toner and paper!  I sent one complaint with copies of 6 faxes to the FCC.  Wonder if it will work...

Thank god I just researched this, I think they just prayed on our dire situation. My dad was who in uninsured (didn't think he could afford it) had to be hospitalized this weekend for severe dizziness (vertigo). They still haven't diagnosed what is wrong. They may have ruled out a stroke, but who knows..ANYWAY I saw this fax today sitting on his fax machine & since I'm DESPERATE to get him insured I called the number. They were nice, seem to have good plans..but ten I thought wait they want a $125 up front enrollment fee & they want all his checking info up front BEFORE we know if he qualifies? So I decided to do my research, and here I am..it angers me to think how they might have known to fax this at the time that they did, I'm hoping it's just a coincidence. This is scary, because if it had been my father calling he may have given them all that information - and god only knows what would have happened to his bank account. As it is we don'teven know what the emergency room bill is going to be..

Fax rec'd from unknown source "Health Care Informer".  I have put their flyer back in my fax machine and faxed it to their phone number 1 888 229 8054 several times.  Hope they like the squeal in their ear every time they pick up the phone!!!

Just got an UN-solicited fax from these scum bags. Going to report it to the FCC. Hope it does some good.

They have been reported to the state department of insurance and are being investigated right now with the enforcement department.  Hopefully they can put a stop to these criminals.

Health care informer received - hope everyone they get a call from gives them notice about the fax being a hoax.  They aren't doing business - as they don't have any ethics.

JUST FILE the 1088 Form with the FCC ... Oh by the way, phone companies don't monitor "content" so don't look to them .. they are private business not a law enf agency.

I agree. I asked the rep I sopke to on the phone, the name of the PPO network they are contracted in, he evaded my question. Finally he said that they are contracted with "Beech Street." I then said I would need to research his company, he hung up on me. What legitimate company would so that???

Hmm.  Just spoke to this company. Said that I couldn't/wouldn't do anything without knowing who I was dealing with. He referred me to beechstreet.com. Asked how I got this fax, as I was on the Do Not Call List. He, of course, had no idea.. Time to contact Beech Street!

I just called 888-229-8054. I talked to the same guys about 5 times and he keep changing his name. I asked to be removed and was hung up on 3 times. They are rude!  they are using my paper and ink, basically they are stealing from me and I can't do anything about it.
