Yes I need to know because some unsuspecting poor soul might get upset and hand over their money to them!!   I have reported them to the FBI.  They are very busy.  The more info we can give them then the more ammunition they have.

Aptela Inc is the company that supplies the phone equipment that allows these scum bags to make fake calls.

I spoke to the sherriff's office this morning and they told me they would call the number and see if they could ascertain who these scammers are.

People, eyeryone needs to report these  crooks to the police, FTC, FBI and their attorney generals office .

A lady called my family and i called back when i asked her what this was for she got nasty and said I called her I should no why she called she called from a cell phone. Then a guy contact my parents home & he called my work. He asked alot of questions saying he had a brown envelope that was served to him that needed to sent to me - if that was the case if anything that needs to send to me why would they go thru people like them.  How does this stop? it comes up on caller ID Aptela Inc but when you call its Friedman & associates

The lady that uses the phone number 3142662604  sounds just like Janice Dickxxx from ACS collections.  Another company that has been in trouble before.

They use fake numbers to call acting like police or a server or an attorney and ask you to call 888-229-8303 and pay them money you do not owe.

I called the Ohio Attorney Generals Office and filed a complaint, they said they would have LE investigate.

I also filed complaints with the FTC, FBI and my local state Attorney General.

I recommend anyone who has contact with them do the same. asap!!!!

We received a call from 888-229-8303 Lisa Petre who left a message asking for another person who we do not know.  Since it involved a notice of legal action I called back to let them know but the office was ??? closed.  An hour later she left another nasty abusive message so I called back again.  Then an hour later she called only this time I got to the phone.  She claimed this person lived at our home and was a relative.  We do not know this person she is asking for but she indicated she was with legal counsel and was so rude.  Then she called and asked for my wife by name.   Glad someone helped me google this phone number and find out what cons will do to rip people off.

They claim to be Friedman and Associates out of Ohio???  They also have another working number 8882178720.  There will be a person that will call you from a verizon network phone: Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, Missouri, and New York.  They will tell you that they are a deputy processor for a fake Investigation Company?? They will tell you to call Friedman and Associates immediately to resolve your litigation and action against you.  You will call Friedman and Associates and they will tell you that you are being sued.  Ask them for a location and debt validation letter.  They will become very ugly and nasty.  Therefore, it is a scam!!  Highly illegal what they are doing.  If it persists call your attorney.
