Do not even bother calling this guy back as it is a total scam.  They are trying to retrieve information from anyone who will give it to them.  After an employee of ours called the number back and told them she knew it was a scam, he swore at her "fu#% you" and hung up on her.  Certainly not the professionalism you'd expect from someone at the circuit courts.  People "BE ALERT" if any call seems odd for any reason, then expect that is not a valid source and do your research!  Good luck and keep you and your employees information safe!

Issue is unless thy send you to appear in court thy can not legally take money from your pay you must work for some dip s*** company who let them if this happened to you because my job told me it doesn't work that way with out appearing in court and things being arranged people like myself know how the system works and does her research before anything so people like me wont be scammed

The business name they give belongs to an engineering company which is located in Chattanooga, TN.  So JL and jarmen if you have the address why don't you be good people and post it on here along with the real business name and all associated phone numbers? Not paying without proof.

I received a call from CS & Associates today telling me that I was going to be sued for a credit card debt I supposedly owe. First message was from Andy Ward. When I returned the phone call, Jake Shields answered and was quite rude, abrasive and wouldn't even answer the simplest of questions or requests such as my request to validate the debt in writing, same request I made months ago to the same company. They refuse to do it. That in and of itself shows they're just bullying scam artists. 2006 must mean something to them because they also stated I owed HSBC for a credit card from 2006. These guys are losers preying on people to scam a buck. Disgusting.

Search for CS and Assoc and you get a wide range but niot ae collection agencies or process servers or attornies.. Typical for the scammers to use a like name of a company and use it as there name.

Not just hurting us innoscent people but innoscent companies who then get a bad rap.

The company that said had my debt was c.s & associates they actually called my work sd was going to serve me to appear i was skeptical at first then i called them they validated my account thru bank all was legit i even followed the chain of title and led back to them . It turns out they are legit company sad people have to run thinking scam are people then getting wage garnishment after they spent all $ on credit card thats why our economy is so effed up just pay the bill its your obligation as an adult !

WELL THEY WERE A**HOLES BUT THEY DID HAVE A VALID POINT ! I DID SPEND THE MONEY SO II DECIDED TO IGNORE THEM THEY ENDED UP GARNISHING MY WAGES 25 PERCENT BEFORE TAXES EVENTUALLY I WAS ABLE TO SETTLE FOR HALF OF WHAT I SPENT ON THE CREDIT CARD ! THIS GUY THAT HELPED ME WAS MR JOHNSON I THINK HE WAS A PROFESSIONAL I SHOUL HAVE LISTENED TO HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE AND I WOULD HAVE SAVED A COUPLE THOUSAND $

they are an actual co. who takes debtors to court the were going to sue me then i settled for 25% of what i spent on the cc they might be bottom feeders but if you just be cool wt them they will help save you $

It's a complete scam.  Asked for my SSN for verification and when I wouldn't give it over the phone, they threatened a summons. . .  I said "go for it" and hung up.

Several different names from this # have called, today iwth the name CS & Associates, yesterday with The Filing Firm, a few weeks back the US Process Servers Office.  They all claim to be getting ready to serve papers.  No one calls to warn you of this, you just get served.  They are trying to intimdate people into paying old debts.  I feel sorry for a small number of these people trying to earn some money, but most of them are Bottom Feeders, ugly people working an ugly job.  Ignore.

This guy Matthew called me about a debt I had 12 years ago and saId his firm was 'partially' retained by its client to collect.  When I asked for the address, I he got very arrogant and said he didnt need to give it tome and he would just move forward to taking me to court, then hung up on me.  This is a total scam but he had my SS #.

I received a call from these people with a claim number. THey have an address I lived at 5+ years ago. Not sure what is going on. I called and he said he is a third party arbitrator
