CALLS ON DAILY BASIS PICK UP THE PHONE THE WHOEVER IS CALLING HANGS UP

Calls come several times a week (almost daily basis) When answered, caller always disconnects.

They always call but leave no message.

been getting 2 or 3 calls a day for some time now.  always hangs up after answered whether on 2nd, 3rd,4th,or 5th ring.

called the 888-236-1330 number back and it is for Miracle Flights for Children and the automated message asks for a donation. No option to speak to anyone.

They've called here almost every day -sometimes multiple times. Today (December 17, 2010) has been ridiculous. They've called three times within the past 6 hrs. The most recent one being just a few minutes ago. Well, I finally answered - and of course nobody was there - just like when it goes to our answering machine they never leave a message. Good grief! I put us on the "Do not call list" and we're still getting calls from certain places! Mostly this stupid number!

We just got this new tel # with caller ID and this 8882361330 keeps calling all times of day and the few times I have answered thinking it was for the former owners of this #, there is no one on other end.  I don't know how to get them to stop.

The calls are probably being made by an automatic dialing system that attempts to determine when the next available operator will be ready to take your call should you answer. If you answer and there isn't an operator available, the system is programmed to hang up, but don't worry, the system will continue calling you in hopes that it's dialing algorithm will get it right and an operator will be available to handle your call if you answer - after all you have nothing better to do with your time and answer their repeated phone calls right?

CALL TWO TIMES A DAY

Call came in at 8:41 pm, I answered, nobody answered me. I heard alot of noise in background like a telemarketing center of some kind. They never answered me after multiple hello's. I hung up

Called at 2:50 PM.  Caller ID 888 236 1330. No name , did not leave message on the answering machine

3:12 PM- I picked up on the second ring, and they d/c'd the call with no response. Ug!

They called me again today. I checked their credentials with Better Business Bureau and the site reported that this charity did not comply with their request for information.  i asked to be taken off their phoning list.  We'll see if they comply.

They called me today at 10:05 AM.  i answered after two rings and they hung up.  Why call and hang up?  What a pain.

These guys call a couple times a day.  I'm going to let my fax machine pick up next time.  Maybe they'll take me off their list.

Yes, Getting calls about 2-3 times a day. No message is left.

The call is from a group who originated a chain e-mail last year and are continuing a "battle" with the FCC against Madelyn Murray O'Hare's atheistic position that the word GOD may not be allowed on the airwaves (TV). I received the subject e-mail (which contained this phone number in its text) which asked for "signatures" and would the 3,000th "signer" simply forward the e-mail to the White House.
As other reporters have noted the caller left no message.
