They called my number but left no message.  Interesting...I've NOT bought anything from Best Buy since I obtained this phone number last summer.

Actually, the party did leave a message but it went to my Google number. This party ? whoever the are ? is doing random cold-calling. No company has my cellphone number. Best Buy certainly does NOT have a cell number which is connected to me. I assuredly did NOT let them know when my phone plan runs out. They carry no records telling them "the time is now." I am reporting them to Sprint. Jerks.

The message:

"Yeah, hi, this is a one-time call from Best Buy Mobile. Time to upgrade your phone? A while back you asked us to remind you when your phone will be ready for an upgrade. We carry your records that indicate that time may be now.

To be added to Best Buy's company's Do Not Call list, call 1(866) 501-9357. Come upgrade your Verizon, Sprint, AT&T or T-Mobile phone plan at Best Buy. Our sales associates will also check to see if you are eligible for any trade-in offers. Not bad. If you have any questions at all, a Best Buy Mobile representative will be happy to help. Just called, I never answer calls if the number isn't familiar to me, they left voice mail-- Best Buy, "reminding" me that my phone is due for an upgrade. It is, in fact, almost eligible, however I did not purchase either the cellphone or the plan from BB. Very fishy, I'd file a report, if I knew who to file it with.

Just got called by this number. I read some former posts regarding this caller. I didn't get my cellphone at BestBuy. I never give out my number to companies, so this is a randomly-dialed cold call. I didn't answer it. I don't know it's from, and they didn't leave a message. If they keep calling and don't leave a message, I'll be blocking them via Sprint.

Best Buy automated message telling me my phone was eligible for an upgrade.

"Best Buy" called saying my phone is eligible for an upgrade. I upgraded a month ago at the apple store (AT&T iPhone).  I've never given best buy my phone number, nor have I ever purchased a cell phone from Best Buy.....

Best Buy soliciting my business by offering a cell phone upgrade. I did not purchase from Best Buy so this is an unsolicited call and harrassment.

Got a call and voicemail today from this number (Best Buy) telling me my phone is eligible for an upgrade. Never purchased a phone through them, never gave them my number, so I dunno why they have it. Voicemail also sounded like a recorded message, considering the person leaving the voicemail said "hi" twice in the same tone of voice several seconds apart

If you have received a call from best buy regarding upgrading your cell phone, there is a class action case being formed.

With that being said, you could be entitled to a monetary payoff as a plaintiff. I know most people will read this and assume its an automated message, but it is not. My Michigan-based firm works closely with an Illinois-based class action firm and we are often looking for plaintiffs for cases like this. We have seen plaintiff collect huge sums for their roles as lead plaintiff in class actions, and their participation is usually minimal.

Best Buy calls my cell phone every day, reminds an appointment that I have never made.  I wonder how BestBuy has my cell phone number that I have never given to BestBuy!  How can I lock this number from calling me?

Received call from bot stating "if I would like to schedule the installation of my new home entertainment center with the geek squad, press 1".   Serious red flags going up here because I did not purchase a home entertainment system, and they have no record of any purchases on my account. I do have a rewards card. Wonder if it was some telebot calling glitch?  Gonna keep a close eye on credit report.

They called me and when I answered they hung up. I don't shop at best buy cause I'm not even 18 yet. Lol who is this?
