This number calls me six times a day, over a Rogers account from five years ago. The bill is for 300$ and the phone belonged to an ex, something I'm 10000% not paying. They leave me constant voicemails and the one guy was even hitting on me over the phone, talk about professional! No idea how they got my current phone number, and the gentleman on the phone even mentioned my student loan?!?!? How would he know that?!?! I hate these b*****ds!

The official BBB (Better Business Bureau) review of Contact Resource Services. You should be putting your complaints there. They already have an F rating.

I have been receiving these phone calls too; if I don't answer they fill up my voicemail.  I contacted Rogers using their customer care chat option online (available here: https://www.rogers.com/web/Rogers.portal?_nfp ... plate=contactus).  After giving them my details and the details left in the voicemails and the phone calls, the customer service agent said that they contacted the credit agency and removed my number from the account (thus confirming that it is a legitimate collection agency).  My advice? Let it go to voicemail and contact Rogers directly with all the details; they will fix the problem for you.

i got i call from thie number 1888 278 0878 there ugly sound she talking to me i told this is wrong number  she repeat my word again again  i requesting to everyone report that to the police .

I also got calls - claim to be collecting on behalf of Rogers.  I contacted Rogers and they said no they are not connected.  Also they got my private phone number  - somehow - which is illegal.  They try to get personal information on you.  I did some further research and found out they search for past collection agencies and buy info from them.  They try to get as much personal info - FYI  - they only have about 4 people in the office.  This is a TOTAL SCAM.  

What they do is illegal.  Not only that I am really concerned about identity theft with these type of illegal operations, what is next that they will try and do. THat is why you need to contact the RCMP to deal with this- if they get enough calls from people, they will act.

If you want to fight this call the RCMP - go to your provincial ombudsmen.  Violation of privacy is a serious issue.  They violate it.  I wish we could get about 1000 people just calling them all day and tie up their lines for months and take them out of business - harass them back.  This is  a growing illegal business, and needs to be dealt with.  
The issue is you cannot find who to deal with - legal lawyers, etc. cannot seem to get to them.  It has to be done by professional RCMP team to deal with this.
I have serious concerns about this organization and what they will try to do.  In my opinion and others, they have violated the privacy act, they have bought your information illegally.  Where will they stop.  Unless we all act on this company and call and report them, they will continue to grow and destructive.

They've been calling me every 15 minutes for the past 3 hours. I've had enough!!

They call every hour ask for a person that I haven't heard of and it's usually someone who can't speak English.... I don't answer the phone anymore

It is a contact resources number an they are a collection agency... An yes i speak from experience I am dealing with them.

They are in no way connected to Rogers, what they are doing is looking for delinquent accounts and going by those leads in hope of getting them before the 7 years are up. So with that being said they are using stale dated information and are fact finding in rather unprofessional matter. I have received several calls from them never relieving my real name, (they never asked) the young lady continue to tell me that I owed monies on a Rogers account and that I was to update my address with them. Seriously!!!!! talk about a complete breach of trust.
I wish all good luck with Contact Resource Management calls, one is almost better of to change their phone number or switch it to voip where you can actually block unwanted calls which I have done.

This is a scam. They have now started calling my relatives looking for me. Someone has shared my information from Koodo.I get calls from 3 different numbers. I am switching service providers tomorrow.

So ya this guy calls says can i speak to Jane it's not her number but i do know her and i say sry she's unavailable. The nerd on the line says well do you know her numberand i say sir i can take a msg if you like who is calling?  He says oh i can't tell you that it's personal info.  So i say well if you don't tell me what it's about then screw it i won't pass the msg along. He says well thats fine it's gonna be her loss. I said buddy if anything it's your loss have a nice f'in day.

You should take a look at the Statute Barred Laws in Ontario.  After a certain amount of time during which NO communications have been made regarding a debt, the creditor is legally bound from trying to collec on that debt.  I think (but I'm not sure) that it's two years.  So if it's been more than two years since they spoke with you - and since you acknowledged this debt in any way as yours - then they legally can't try to collect it.  
If that's the case, draft a Cease and Desist letter to them, and tell them that, regardless of whether it's your debt, they are forbidden to chase you for this debt as it falls under the Statute Barred legislation.

They may not follow the law, but it's worth a try.
