Collection agency.

I used them and they were affective in getting my money owed to me. I had $25,000 owed and received almost $13,000 back. I did have one issue when i told someone they could bring the money to me, but I mailed them the check. I told my client they had give the money order to me and I would handle it.

I have filed two suits against collection agencies and have been successful. There are lots of ways they can violate the FDCPA but here are the really common ones, as told to me.
   * Disclose the existence of your debt to a third person like family, friends or co-workers
   * Use obscene or profane language
   * Falsely imply that you have committed crime or imply that you are about to be arrested
   * Attempt to intimidate you or your family
   * Claim to be an attorney or send a letter made to look like it is from an attorney when he/she is not an attorney

They can't tell anyone besides you or your spouse that they are calling about a debt. They can't swear at you either. If they tell you they are sending the sheriff over, they're breaking the law. If they try to scare you or your family, they're also breaking the law. They can't tell you they are an attorney or pretend to be one.

Anyway, if you are having problems with a collector, call Mark Carey's law office at 877-909-MARK. He?s the Same consumer rights attorney I used.

I have recieved calls from Mr. Brooks and Mr. Harris.  They are rude.  They will not provide me with any documentation of who they are or what i owe.  They have been calling all of my family members and saying vulgar and threatning things.

Hey, I had bad luck with this so called company RRI collections.I have a gym with some past due members that i sent them to collect on.I turned over $20,000.00 worth of contracts to be collected.Finally after three months i get an invoice that stated that i breached the contract by accepting payments from my clients, which i didn't do and i owe them 2.50 !! They collected over $1900.00 from my clients and kept it.They appear to be scam artist. Has anybody had any luck with attorney generals?

They were collecting for me also.  I just found out that they are not honest collectors.  They owe me money also.

They are also in Florida and Georgia, I get mail from them from both states and the check comes from florida. No matter where they are they are scum!

I hired these dirt bags to collect bail money owed to me. Now that they have the files they treat me worse then they treat the debtors. They yell and swear at the debtors, which I do not approve of as they are my still clients, I just need to have my outstanding invoices managed.

When I called them to ask them not to be so rude and abusive to my clients they told to Shut the F---- up and mind my own business.

Nice huh? Well then I got a letter from the Lawyer Robert Bird telling me I am interfering with them. Imagine that, then this month they shorted me $2,900.00.

So Monday I will be at the Attorney Generals Office, the Sheriff's Office and Filing suite in Court and calling the FTC.

Rawlins and Rivera  they are out of Sanford fl. They a debt collector who has just plead out of court with the FCC. They were using harrassing phone calls to collectors. I was one of their clients. They have been collecting debt even after I told them to stop. They are not paying us on accounts they have collected and have made agreement without our consent.
