Yeah I got a really dumb phone message that was cut off from the beginning saying  "...and CMO Andrew King would like to meet with you for an interview on November 17, if you would like to schedule an interview press 1...etc"

The number was blocked, and the really stupid part is that they left a message with touch tone instructions--that doesn't work. So that scam doesn't even let you get scammed...

The title and name were really garbled and I have been applying to a lot of jobs recently so I didn't know if it was legitimate or not. This thread confirms it.

This is a cut-and-paste letter sent by someone in a pyramid scam, and you are a sales target, not an employment candidate.  They hope for your desperate need to find a job and they obligate you to perform rite-of-entry; such as the purchase of training material or term insurance.  Once you buy, they made a sale, now you are obligated to find other suckers to do the same thing.  You are then suckered into selling worthless term insurance in the faux hopes of making a career, you wreck your family and friends using high pressure obligatory sales tactics, and your market disappears the moment you exhaust your customers.

The insurance is worthless.  The dumbest insurance you can buy is term life, it expires once you're too old to pay the premium; by the time you die you've paid them countless more times than you would with whole life.  The target market becomes all around you--neighbors, friends, people you will regret selling the insurance too.  Its done in a pyramid structure.  You are promised a growing business with a reputable firm but what you really get is a failed investment with loss of friends.

Did you click on the link in the email?  Notice how quickly it jumps to a screen and advises someone will contact you, rather than asking you to enter your information.  It will be high pressure sales, they will make you think you will lose something, and you wont know you dont want to do it until after you put the money in.  Google portions of the letter, you'll see that this is already posted on hundreds of sites indicating that people are using the job invite from Mr. King as the bait.

Andrew King never contacted you, just some salesman using the cut-and-paste script to rip you off.  The idiot who is trying to market you justifies with the idea, "I paid for the insurance, so should everyone else." They wont make a profit, nor will you, only the people at the top getting the couple of sales from every idiot hoping to succeed.

The Insurance company will profit from everyone as they all will be upset that they bought the life insurance, at higher rates than whole life, and then cancell it a couple of months later.  No obligation but quick profit for the ones initiating the scam.

Dont do it.

I got this same message.  I don't know if the email itself is legitimate.  The company does exist though.

Spam is not the preferred method to reach for potential candidates.  Wouldn't you agree?
