this sounds a lil krazy.... they trying to call ppl to have them pay bac sumthing that they took out... lol why is that wrg to do? i mean if its a debt that you owe y get upset whn sumone asks for it bac... mayb they nt going about it the rite way but it seems to me these ppl juss want want you owe, if you ask me...

That is very interesting...
They called my work today and gave all my information about the situation to my manager because I was not in the office...told her that I was going to be arrested at my house...gave her my case number. Isn't that against the law taking about my personal information. I have the paper that my boss wrote everything down on...hmmm...think I may get my lawyer involved..then they can pay me!

Disclosure of threats and or third party information is a violation of the FDCPA. If they 'claim' they will serve and don't in 30 days, you may have a case. Actual Court servers have no need to leave messages, they just find you through Social Security searches etc. This is a company which has bought the 'debt' from a previous company and is trying to flush out it's prey, because most people are not familair with the law.

Its a debt collector who use that as a scare tactic also known as AAA collections (google them)

Caller says they need to serve a court summons on me, I ask them if it is out of the county I live in, and she has no reply
