I got a call today from a Gerald Mack, he left two messages on my cell and work number, said charges were pending and to contact the original debt company.  They called my grandma and my mother-in-law and left the same messages, when I called the 855-266-6202 number he left I reached FS Group, I spoke to a Tonya Smalls and a Mark Williams, they said I had a payday loan debt from August 2011, mentioned Fraud and told me I would be served with papers.  I ask when I would be served so I could be around and they wouldn't give me a date.  I ask them questions about the debt, why I never received anything through mail prior to this call.  Both Tonya and Mark questions me about the debt, I don't remember if its mine or not.....its been almost a year.  So I dug a little and ask about the company name, location, any other phone numbers etc.  I called the BBB and FS Group has a F rating, the woman at the BBB referred me to the FTC, the BBB told me that 1) its illegal for them to leave detailed messages or speak to anyone about my debt, 2) that Legit debt collectors MUST provide you with proof of ownership of the debt, and 3) that they cannot threaten you with legal action!  I filed a complain with the FTC and BBB.

a Kelly B(?) left a message saying same thing all of you indicate, charges pending, appear in court, etc...  but when I called the "plaintiff" number back it was auto answered by "SF Group"...needed extension to continue. It didn't really make sense... if they were at the point of "serving papers' then then papers would've already been filed & speaking with "plaintiff" wouldn't be option. I'm thinking it's a scare tactic.

so I get it you work for the company, very nice!!! Why dont you and your company stop scaming people. There are other ways for yall to get money other than scaming people. If yall can sleep after tricking  and scaring people than better you than me. Wow!!!!

I hope they are fake, because I am having hard time with things now I dont want to add it. I  can not afford to lose my job or anything else.

I got the same thing. First the call came from a Robert Glen, then I spoke to a Jacklyn Joyner. I wonder if that's the famous athlete from the 80s or 90s or something. These guys are fake, plus she never read the script that all legit debt collector's are suppose to read to you. It's illegal if they don't.

I got a total of 4 calls from an unknown number, reporting to call this number because  they my name on some court dockets for a couple of cases. The lady name is Jill Miller, when I asked where she was calling from she was calling from a private locator and I should contact the 888 number. She also told me she wanted to locate me so they know where to service me with papers, and gave me the court case number. However when I did a search using the number she gave me I couldnt find anything.

Got a phone call from this number. No message left.
