I've reported these people to the BBB. They have threatened my family over a debt that I PAID in 2007. They refuse to send me any paperwork about the debt in question OR their company. They just want to "keep me out of court". I told them to go ahead and file the paperwork for court and NOT to contact me or my family again. i KNOW they are calling about a debt that was settled. They STILL call.

When i try calling these numbers a recording comes up saying your account is locked.

contact the fbi and the attorney general if you heare from these guys.

i keep getting a call from northview about some payment. then they was like if i didn't take care of it i was going to court. so now that i read about all this other stuff that they are doing, i'm glad that i didn't send them no money or give them my bank account information. now when they call they are calling me from 716-418-8569, the same that is on this machine is the same as it is at 877-458-8320. same name of the company lewis shapiro llc. but when they call they annouce it as northview recovery. i got two names of the people that called me, they are: charles davis and elaine dean. everyone be careful.

They are changing there name to northview recovery per curtis snowdens request.  Worst company I ever worked for.

got the same call..i was told that a felony charge would be brought on me if i didn'nt take care of this matter..and i also had 24hr to respond or else..WOW!  She said this is not a collection agency..

Got a call regarding a civil judgement with the opportunity to take care of this outside of court...sounds fishy since that type of information is usually not disclosed on voicemails.  if this company is doing what the related posts say. that is a major fdcpa violation!

this number is lewis shapiro llc. they make it look like they are an attorneys office. they are not. they are a collection agency that thinks that they are not governed by the fdcpa but they should be like everyone else. they used to be marshall and ziolokski and after that kingman cole and associates. they change there name so they dont have to pay consumers for all they're "illegal practices" someone should call the better business buearu on them and report it.
