Received a call from 888 244 1080 this AM. I did not answer as I was sleeping. They left a number (888 244 1080) for my daughter to cal. Said it was about a legal issue. The guy left a name Rick Vaughn. My daughter doesn't know who it is. Is it legal for a collection agency to call a cell phone using my minutes and creating charges on my bill? They did not ID their company

This "mr. Coleman" called me to give me a settlement on a school loan, he got strait to the point that I needed to pay the money. I automatically knew this was a scam, there is no court summons an hes blowin smoke up my a** when I told him that he wuldnt be callin from a blocked number he immediatly got offensive an started tlkn down to me, "if I was savy enough I knew the call wuld come from a satellite" that im a dead beat beauty school drop out that needed to pay her bills! Do not be scared of the threat of a court summons, no one is goin to call u an threaten u of legal documents!!! The sherrif delivers it to ur home without a warning...... THESE GUYS ARE JOKES.... DONT GIVE THEM A DIME OF UR MONEY!!!!

Got a message from someone called Mr. Coleman this morning which said I needed to call him concerning legal issues that required immediate attention. I called and he said I owed money to a telephone company for early termination of two phones with 415 area code. I told him I never open any phone with 415 area code because it's not where I live. He said he did not want to play game with me and I needed to pay or I will be served with court paper. He said I signed with my name KF. I again told him the name he referred to is not my legal name, just the name I go by. He then hang up the phone. Overall sounded rude and not professional. Scam?

I was able to get through to the number that had been left for me to call back. The when the woman answered I asked for Mr. Coleman and was immediatley put through to a very rude man who procedded to be completley inappropriate and nasty with me. I asked him after 5 mins of listening to him run down a list of information apparently obtained by pulling a background check on ME who he was and what the call was in refrence to. He then told me he was calling me about a debt my 78 year old mother owed? I let him finish telling me this debt was from several years ago when my mother lived in a shody apartment complex which she vacated prior to completing her lease...Apparently the company filed court papers regarding her violating her lease and is trying to collect on a judgment they were given for 2k worth of lost rent due to her leaving her lease early and early term. fees. I asked Mr. Coleman why if the debt was for my mother he felt the need to do a fairly detailed and thourough background check on me to the point that he obtained my marital records and mother in laws name and he said because he tried to call my mother ( who now at this point in life lives in assisted living and has alheimers and dimentia) and she "PRETENDED" not to know what he was talking about because she was a "deadbeat" so he decided since she was too coward to face her resp. he would find her kids and try to get them to do something about her.
I explained to him very politley my mothers age and that she unfortunatley was not pretending but at this stage of life has several issues including alheimers. His immediate and quite nasty reply was " look I dont care what she has or doesn't I need this money and I want it now" I explained that I would be happy to help settle whatever the issue was but that I would not work with him if he continued to speak to me that way. He procedded to raise his voice ( to the point that I could hear him with the phone sitting on the coffee table) and yell at me and say I WOULD PAY the bill or I would suffer major consequences and procedded to threaten to go to my mothers apartment and take her personal belongings and sale them on the street corner. I hung up. I was very angry and very concerned. Later in the day my mothers unit manager called me to inform me that he had recieved a call regarding my mother and that the gentlemen a Mr. Coleman had advised him that my mother needed to call him or he would have the Marshals come in to the building to get her and he wanted to avoid that type of scene since the residents were elderly...I explained the situation to the best of my ability to the unit manager and he basically told me not to worry about it he would handle any more calls recieved on his end. Later in the day my mother called me very upset stating that she recieved a message from a friend of hers who also lives in this building saying a Mr. Coleman called and needed to reach my mother immediatley because he was a doctor and he needed to speak to her regarding sensitive health info. He was asking the neighbor if my mother had any other children besides me.....
this guy is a first rate A**hole who should not be permitted to continue to harrass people and the company apparently a law firm called ryan reynolds and ingrham should be ashamed of having someone employed who would violate the basic rules regarding debt collecting!!!!

My mother in law ( Whom I have never lived with, applied for any thing with, used as a refrence or co-signer for anything or any association what so ever?) called and said a Mr. Coleman left that number for me on her answering maching and asked for me by name first and last and addresed her by first and last name saying he needed to reach me....I tried to call the number back tonight just to see what company this number belonged to and it rang about 20 times then went directly to a fast busy signal?

Getting debt collection calls from this number from someone named Chris Coleman. When calling the number they answer as "Professional Services"
