Yo casi caigo en esto hoy. Si el numero es 18882441909 te dicen q te llaman mas tarde para q conteste la pregunta de quien canta la cancion de  A Dios le pido, y la camisa negra , despues  una muchacha lily blanco te llama y q te ganas 4 paquetes,a punta cana,a daytona, a las vegas y a disney por solo $299. Q supuestamente es fundado por el govierno para promover el turismo, pero lo mejor es que ella nunca me hizo la pregunta jaa y Soy Ganadoraaa!!!! Gracias a mi Diosito le dije q aguantara un momento,y despues ella corto la llamada. Tambien mesiono q es de Laguna vacaciones suites, espero q deverdad a los q pagaron les devuelvan su dinero o sea verdad lo de los packages.

I SO CALLED ONE TICKETS TOPUNTA CANA AND ORLANDO  RESORTS BUT I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY IMFORMATION ON MY PACKAGED I PAID 150. SUPPOSIVELY FOR TAXES. I AM IRATE CAUSE THEY TOOK MY MONEY ALREADY. DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW!

la mega conteste una pregunta y he pagado con mi bank account el precio de 299.00 dollars por vacciones, pense q era real y q solo era una manera de coger mas clientes . me dijeron en tres dias me llegaria por correo todo lo comprado , ya hace una semana y estoy esperando no caigan en esto pues aun no se como recuperar el dinero. cambiare el numero de mi tarjeta y vere como puedo recuperar mi dinero .

Si fuera una promocion verdadera, entonces:
1. La promocion pudiera encontrarse en la pagina oficial del resort o de la Television o Emisora de Radio que la esta promocionando, como por ejemplo cuando se colecta dinero para La Liga Contra El Cancer, esa informacion se encuentra visible en el sitio web oficial de la emisora. De esa forma uno sabe que es verdad y que dicha promocion esta respaldada por la Emisora.
2. El premio pudiera obtenerse sin ningun tipo de dinero y en persona. Por ejemplo, los premios que da Don Francisco en Sabado Gigante no requieren ningun tipo de pago por adelantado y puden recogerse en persona en el canal.
3. No todo el mundo pudiera ser el ganador. Cuando un resort da un premio de esa cuantia (3 viajes de 12 dias en total con todo incluido para 4 personas, valido por 2 anos y transferible) no se lo da a todo el mundo. Tiene un cupo limitado, por ejemplo las primeras 5 llamadas o algo asi... Si un hotel empieza a regalar tantos viajes gratis, se arruina.
Creo que esto es un scam, o fraude, como quiera que lo llamen, y que se presta para robo de identidad y de dinero. NO caigan en este asunto.

The same happened to me. My nephew listened to the radio 98.3. They asked the name of a country without an "a" on it. Of course, my nephew called and got the response right. He won a trip to 3 different destinations with all inclusive, that is valid for 2 years and can be transferrable.  We got excited about it, and called for more details. It was so good to be true. Of course, they asked for the money in advance and the credit card informaiton. When I asked for a phisical address where I can go to pay in person and read the conditions of what I won (or better said, of what I am buying), they told me I had to pay by phone and gave me these names: Travel Laguna Suites. com and Occidental Resorts. I have searched on the web everywhere and I don't find any place where I can find this vacation offer from "La Mega" I don't think this offer is true. I will not give my information. Hope you don't give yours. Good luck!

Did they send you a mail about the prize youve won? and did you try to get your money back by the bank?

My friend had said something to me about this kind of scam! Same here they ask a spanish question so i decited to call like 5 times with my friends and my cell phone and they would always say the same thing your aour last caller whats the answer then you won!!!  they funny part is that i gave them a supposely account number but it was their own number but scrambled!! yep to good to be true!!!

Thank you I almost fell for this scam because I thought it was the radio station's contest! Anything looks too good to be true,usually isn't !

They tried to do the same with me

I was listen the Radio in Spanish called La Raza They were saying if u know the name of the country that has no AA'S  on it the give this number 1888-244-1909 i called them i told them Mexico and they told me your the winner to a trip to Puerto Ballarta and Los Cabos, but i had to pay $299.00 Dollars first this is b***s*** they trying to steal your money.. dont give nobody your credit card number...

Nothing this good can be true. Come on people it's purely a scam!

I'm from Colombia, and an aunt told me to call to that number because they were raffling off a trip with expenses paid, to Orlando, only if I said that animal lays eggs that is NOT a bird.

My boyfriend was watching the show Notioiero SIN Primera Edicion (on DISH channel 844) and the show asked what animal lays eggs. He called right away and said dinasaur. He was told he is right and he won a trip for four days to Republica Deminica, Miami, Tampa, or Olando. This includes hotel and two passes to Disney World. All he has to do is pay $199.00. Three different people tried to get his checking account number. I told him I'm leary about this since I had calls like this years ago. I don't know the validity of this contest.

This number does not call anyone! Its an 800 number!

At least this number is to fake contest on Spanish Language radio stations here in Arizona.  They get you with a fake question (Your always right), and try to sell you your "prize."  LOL, they even offer you a greater prize if you pay with your credit card, and offer flexible payments.  Yeah, they're a scam.
