This is ARG they are a debt collection company that uses illegal tactics to harass you and your family members, if you get a call from them record the call, call 877-382-4357 to report them to the Federal Trade Commission also call your Attorney General in your city and report it!

Check with your state but the statute of limitation is 4 years from the last transaction in most states.

If the debt is older than 4 years then the statute of limitations have run out and I would not pay it. They can't sue you so forget about it.

This company is called ARG.  They are a scum collection agency last known out of NY.  The acquire out of statute debt and use an aggressive VERY ILLEGAL campaign of harassment to collect money form people they can not legally sue or garnish them for anymore.  It's very improtant DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY.  Any money sent to them does not go against ANY debt that is currently showing on your credit report.  You should report them immediately to the FTC especially if they threatened to sue you..they called your work...they did not send you a written notice describing the debt under the Fair practices Deb Act.  In most states the statute of limitations on bad checks is 2-3 years.  Check the state you wrote it in.  if its past that statute then you cannot be sued regardless of the scare tactic Dun Noctice.

MR.HANFORD,I ALSO RECIEVED A CALL,I CALLED BACK.THEY TOLD ME ABOUT MY WELLS ACC THAT WAS OVERDRAWN. THEY HELPED ME REMEMBER THAT ACCOUNT AND WE VERIFIED IT. I SETTLED IT FOR A LOWER BALANCE! ATLEAST ITS PAID OFF NOW! I RECIEVED A ZERO BALANCE LETTER IMMEDIETLY AFTER.THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL!

I was sent a dunn notice today by certified mail. Says Im facing a civil suit from a loan I recieved from Wells Fargo bank I never paid off. This is the contact # provided in the documents. I havnt called them back. Any advice?

GOT A CALL...
involve a debt i owed. i have not  been running from it but it caught up to me. I owed 11k and was able to settle for 6800.00 which saved me money. I will never do debt settlement if i can do this myself. just finished paying them off today.

Received calls to both my cell phone and work phone from this number and they would not disclose information.

Recived a blocked call yesterday telling me to call this number with a ref number, then they tell me good luck..LOL.  Called today it's arg a collection service the kind of collection service that uses (or tries the best they can) thee bully method, tries to intimidate.  However they called my cell phone which is not allowed.  Don't think I will hear from them again.

I received a private left a message for me to call this number.  They are a collection group national but I believe I was talking with their Los Angeles office.  It's a routine they play...he told me I must be delusional as he never called me, right his associate did.  He tried to pull the bully debt collector on me. Just frustrated hourly employees trying to reach their bonus for the month.  Sad.

I received a call from  a 323 454-0470 saying they were trying to reach ***** to serve a complaint and a notice to appear.  He gave the number of  888 244-9086. and a "case" number.  It did not seem right so I did not call the number. He said he was coming by the next day to serve the notice.  I have no intention of giving in information or money to these people as I think they may be running a scam.  I get any notice from them I a reporting their tactic to the BBB.  You can use contact free legal aid service in your local area if they keep harassing you.

Got a call from this place. stating that i owe $2281.85 for a signature check back in 2008. i made a few payments toward it then in 2010  i lost my job and could not afford to pay them back....now these people are planning to file a judgement against me. i live in california. a friend mentioned to me that after a certain amount of years they cannot do anything to me...is this true? please help they send me a dun noticed thru certified mail. i dont know what do, i can afford an attorney
