I called direcTv for which I am also a customer.
I just received this new phone number last month
Apparently the number was owned by a Spanish speaking family and they hinted it was delinquent
If you want it removed I suggest calling DirecTv directly since they have your phone number attached to a different account

They said they are from directv and want my account number, all in Spanish.
I told them I don't have direc tv even though I do and they better stop calling me.
I get the calls every day a few times a day, they will only answer if you speak Spanish ..

These idiots call several times a week! I don't speak Spanish and my direct tv account is on an automatic pay (is current)...

This number (888-245-7163) calls my number constantly and appears on my Caller ID as "unavailable". Fooled them this time by answering my phone...., yes, answered the phone and after listening to a recording that you could barely hear in spanish... a person came on the line & of course, speaking spanish, in which I don't, had to request that they speak in English... They said that they were from DirecTV and trying to contact a person, whom I don't even know. I inquired as to how they got my number in the first place and was told I gave it them. After informing them that I did no such thing, because I don't have there service in my house to begin with and don't want there service, period!! I informed them to stop calling me and to remove my number from there automated system as well. I was told it would take up to 24 hrs to remove my number from there system.

They won't stop calling my cell phone and I do not have any outstanding debts, so I know it is not regarding collections... one time (out of probably 20 calls), a woman finally spoke to me in spanish and I told her she had the wrong number then she hiung up on me. I just called it back and it was Direct TV call centre, but the message was not in english, so that is all I could get out of it.

They have been calling me everyday. My husband works for DirecTv. I have read that this is a scam.

These jack***es keep calling me and they are looking for someone else entirely! I have never even had Direct TV. This is the s**t that the BBB has to look into when rating these turds. I requested for them to take me off their calling list and it seems since then they only call more! I'm so freaking tired of these dumbasses!

Been getting calls on my cell phone two & three times a day.  How you get them to stop?  Telemarketing companies should just be banned out of existence.

This company is Direct TV. I have spoken with Saul Pinedo. He says he will remove me from their automated system. I am placing a formal complaint with The Better Business Bureau. I suggest you do the same.

I have the same problem. I just reported them to the Do Not Call Registry. Maybe if everyone does this they will ban this company from calling. here is the number you need to call. Its an automated system. (888) 382-1222.

Oh my god! This is what happened....I was in class, I forgot that I didn't shut my phone off, then like 2-3 minutes before class ended, they called me!  I didn't get in trouble or anything, it was just really embarrassing.  Who are they and why don't they call after school hours? Does anyone think I should call them and say "Don't call during school!" haha, just kidding ;)

They started calling my government cell phone a few days ago.  The first two times I answered, a man asked for Esther or her husband in Spanish and as I was explaining to the man that he had the wrong number, he hung up both times!

They call and then when I answer there is nobody at the other side
