Have no a lot of cash to buy a car? Worry no more, just because it is real to take the business loans to resolve such kind of problems. So get a short term loan to buy all you want.

Same as above, recieved a letter that appeared to be from indymac bank re:mortgage mods. They indicate that they are indy mac, without actually saying it, however, they never say who they are. Would trust anyone with this business model....scammers!!!!!!

I got a letter with this number attached. They indicated that they were chase and wanted to modify my chase loan. This was crap.
mike 2011-06-06 21:05:17 Unknown
Same thing, mine is a suntrust mortgage payment reduction notification with small type telling me its not affiliated with suntrust mortgage.
Rand 2011-06-06 21:05:17 Unknown
Now they have switched to a tax-document looking mailer, mine references Suntrust Mtg. Very deceptive.

SAME THING, DECEPTIVE BSNS PRACTICES
John 2011-06-06 21:05:17 Unknown
I recieved a letter from what I thought was Indymac bank offering me a loan modification. However it was just junk mail trying to get me to give them my info for a modification through some off the wall company. Dont waste your time calling this scam.

I also recd this bogus notice; I called the number and the person answered, "hello" This immediately made me wonder this dude was shady at best. After I questioned him, he said he was from US Mortgage Advocates...NOT I, too, am current on my payments and have no idea how he got my information. Beware!!!

i did not receive a call but i got the same notice in the mail saying Important Information regarding Your Loan With Countrywide/Bank Of America.
I called the number after hours, and as someone else had mentioned on the voice mail the company was NOT identified as Countrywide.
Indeed another scam company looking to get rich off your money and give give you nothing in return but loss of revenue.
Continue to stay on top of the scammers and don't trust any of them until you have throughly checked them out.
Good luck and God bless you guys & ladies.

I got a similar letter but this one says it is from Washington Mutual/Chase Bank. So it is a bogus letter.
Gloria 2009-07-23 07:25:10 Unknown
I also got the same mailing, except from "GMAC" bank, supposedly. Firstly, the most recent "Economic Stimulus Act" is "2008" NOT "2009" as it states on the mailer. Also, it says that "This letter is being sent pursuant to California Code section 2923.5..." Well that law outlines how a bank should contact a customer before the bank ACTUALLY begins foreclosure on a home... not to talk about loan modifications in general. In my case, I am current on my payments and there is no reason for to contact me pursuant to 2923.5 so this is very, very suspicious.

Got this trifold stating "URGENT NOTICE" "$2000 Fine or 5 Yrs. Imprisonment..." Payment reduction Notice reguarding IndyMac Bank loan. Said we wuill not get a call, but we must call within 20 days of the date on the notice. Mention theStimulus Act of 2009. I will not call this number, but I will talk it to my bank.
judith 2009-07-11 17:25:43 Unknown
I received the same mailing. The wording attempts to lead the reader into believing it is from Countrywide/BofA. Also a notice on the front indicating there is a fine or imprisonmnet for tampering or obstructing delivery of "this letter". I'm sure that's just the general code for tampering with any mail. But I'm not going to bother to check. So sick of all these opportunist low life "businesses".

This phone number is appearing on very official-looking mailings, ostensibly (in my case) from Countrywide/Bank of America, purporting to be the bank and wanting to talk about loan modification. Shady indeed!
