My HR department just notified me that someone from this company (Consolidated) threatened to come down and serve me with papers. This raised a red flag obviously and secondly since I owe no one but, the I.R.S. I was like WTF! Perusing the internet I found this is plausibly a scam...so I fined a complaint with the FTC for starters. Beware aware people!

Pretty much the same as everyone else...they spoof a local number and then have you call the 888 number..the guy said his name is Kyle Martin and he had papers to serve..called my work # twice within a minute and then my cell twice within a minute...ended by saying that I had officially been notified...NOTIFY THIS YOU JERKS!! :-)

I've received several calls from this number.  The guy went as far as contacting my HR department.  Not sure what their strategy is but it is illegal to continuously contact someone's place of employment harassing their co-workers stating that they are coming to serve papers.  They called again this morning saying that this was my ?final notification? It?s obvious he has no papers to serve.  
Debt collectors may not harass, oppress or abuse you or any third party they contact.

I was called by a Kate Spencer who gave me the 888 number to call to resolve my "issue" and also looking for my addresses of home and employment so they can come to "serve me with papers."  This was yesterday and it freaked me out because I don't owe any money.  She called me today and before I can tell her that I know she's fake she starts yelling that they need my addresses to come serve me and hangs up. I didn't call  the 888 number because i knew where this was going from recent experience of this. They usually use a local number like 267-544-1078 that kept calling me.They want you to call them and this is how they operate and get around that law because they're not calling you.

I got a phone call from this number and they said they were trying to get a hold of my mom and it was important for me to give her a message- "She is officially being served" he said he was a locator and needed to contact her- when I told him she was in a coma he said he would give the information to someone and they would contact me with further information to serve her at the hospital where she is at. who does that! I know she has some collection agency trying to get their money- but she wouldn't give my information out- he said he has a file with my name on it- he knew my name- at least my maiden name...I don't know what to do- he was talking like he was going to arrest her. He gave me a file #, then a phone #. I read stuff online about it being a scam and then called their number and told them I didn't know how to contact her he didn't know why the locator called me ~ i don't know what to do- she isn't even well enough to get out of ICU to even deal with any stressful thing ~ he would't tell he his name- the second guy wouldn't tell me anything unless I am the POA and that is the only way he could release information.

Just received a call stating that I needed to call 888-247-6438 phone number and that I will get in a whole lot of trouble if I did not call that number stating that I should know what the call is about.  I called the number and they played it like they had mis information. But people I say to you whatever you do when you receive this call do not call the 888 number it is a scam to get you to tell them anything about yourself.  I am one of those people who think after the thought. they prey on those people who do owe debt. This is astonishing what people do these days.   I will right now pray in the name of Jesus that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. That in all of this, these people will not harm or infiltrate anyone's information to do harm I pray against these evil people that all who are ever involved and preyed upon in there scam are blessed, favored and are saved.  Thank you Lord.  Amen .

Just received the same crazy call today staing he would like to have me call the 888-247-6438 line.  He states there are papers he needs to serve me but no clear detail information.  His name was Tommy J--- and he gave a reference number.  He called three times with in a  minute period. That is why I say crazy call??

Today I was called by a guy from ( 972) 479-5206 who gave me the 888 number to call to resolve my "issue" in 45 minutes or he would come to my job to "serve me with papers."  He asked for my employers address and I told him, that if he has the rest of my information he would have this information as well. Yet he still would tell me exactly what this was referring to.  I told him to bring his #$%^&^%$ up here if he wanted to.......Let's see how he likes it when someone calls his phone......Pissed Off

my sister just got a call from this number....they told her to contact me because i was in trouble.  person said their name was Michael Brown.  888 247 6438

He called me today and before I can tell him that I know he's fake he's yells that he's coming to serve me and hangs up. I called the 888 number and told the woman that answered that they were not to call me and she said "We didn't call you" which is true because I called them.  This is how they operate and get around that law because they're not calling you, but the "server" guy sure is.....
