Check the Federal Fair Debt Collection Act.  They are not allowed to threaten property seizure or to contact you at an inconvenient location.

I had a voice mail from a male caller from Solomon and Rejurio - he was very intimidating.  When I finally got to Ms. Davis she was even scarier, threatening, argumentative and very abrupt.

Did they ever serve you with the papers??

Hmmm...this says 4 years for California, thought it was 7 yrs.

This is a collector calling you. I received the same phone call. This is how you respond and they will not bother you again.

You simply say, "I'm sorry this ALLEGED debt is no longer collectible."

The statute of limitations runs out on any debt that is older than 7 years (California), check with your state on how many years, and can no longer be collected upon. Be sure to always call it an "alleged debt" that way you are not admitting to the debt in question. Otherwise, they will continue to hound you by phone and mail.

I just received a call from Miss Davis today.  She was threatening me with a judgement for past due credit card debt.  Saying my balance was 10times the amount of the original debt.  Also said I would be served at my job and they would come and take my property.

Same here but if it was legit, why cant you find the address that goes with this phone number as in WHITEPAGES? Why dont you have any correspondence relating to the phone call? Sounds like shady lawyers that represent unethical collection agencies trying to collect on UNCOLLECTABLE accounts!

I got a call from the same company but only got a recording when I tried to call back "...desk of Mrs. Davis...offices of Solomon and Rejurio..."  Who are these people and why are they calling?

I did to from someone Ms davis from a law firm by the name of Solomon and something Im really not sure.
