Scam number 1-888-252-6877....

they are at it again got the yellow card today -it immediately went in the trash

I just got caught in a 20 minute conversation with them and for some reason said, "I guess we can set up for an appointment, but both my wife and I probably won't be there." (knowing full well she would not and for some reason we both needed to be there for the appointment to work). There was a $100 gift card from Wawa and Home Depot, but it was only for Home Depot, talk of a gas card, and I guess everything would be doubled if we are both there, but we only get one if have to reschedule. It got really confusing.

Called PWD to see if they were aware of any scams in the area... she put me on hold for four minutes, then told me they were not allowed to comment on it because they were funded by government blah blah blah. I asked her a seemingly less direct and more subtle way to see if scams like this existed in the area and if there was any reason to worry (either about the potential scam or the water, itself) to get the same (quite possibly read from a quickly jotted note) the same answer.

So... long story-short: Shady, right? (the Hope Depot stuff, not the PWD stuff)

I got the yellow card because they couldn"t reach me by phone in my new home. I haven't moved in yet and there is no phone. I called the number and got a non-descriptive recording. I left a rude message.

My yellow orange postcard stated, "Our records indicate that we have been trying to reach you to arrange for a delivery of an inportant package for your homse".
Every time some legitimate delivery service needed to leave a similar message, it was left attached to my door by the truck driver who actually attempted to deliver an real package.  The fact that someone is Jacksonville, Florida was sending a postcard regarding a local delivery is proof enough that this is a scam!
However, I disagree with everybody that says toss it into the garbage can.  I say that everyone that receives a postcard should call them.  Keep them on the phone for as long as possible.  Ask questions.  Make them waste their time on every postcard they've sent, and then tell them what you think of them.  They have also provided an 888 number and it wouldn't hurt dialing it a few extra times.  If scammers like these are to be put out of business, then everyone should contribute to wearing them down.

I just bought a house 3wks ago with a well that water was tested/passed fine.  I received the yellow/orange card saying WATER UPDATE from AWP & they have been unable to contact me by phone or home visit to call immediately regarding my water...   This scam took a toll on my nerves since it was 9pm at night receiving & thinking I may have had my 3 children drinking bad water..  So to the Attorney General the card will go with my 2 sense added!!!!

Just closed on our house April 30th got the little yellow card in the mail today (25 May) They even got my zip code wrong??!! Why be all secretive about some "important package to deliver". Claims "we have been trying..." huh not really...all my other mail gets here just fine. I am supposed to call 1-888-265-5068 some PERK Conveyors Home delivery service in Jacksonville, FL...Really??? I have not ordered anything. Just like everyone else my address and supposed delivery code are hand written. I was immediately suspicious and an extremely short search brought me here. I love google!

Received the yellow card for a special delivery and am obvious scam.  Called 888-265-5068 to give someone a piece of my mind.  Was transferred to a voice mail to leave a message.  Naturally did not.  So watch out for this number also.  Maybe I will report it to Jacksonville Better Business Bureau.  Watch out for these scams

I just purchased a house too. First of all I love you google search. I wasn't going to post until I saw this thread. Thanks for all the feedback, internet peeps, and all your funny stories and experiencng with this scamming company.

Just rec'd same card in mail 2day. Looked up online right away and trash we go... Still doing shady biz, or they wouldnt lie about a delivery!!! I bough new home 2 years ago. Thanks for all the informative posts!!!

I've got you all beat...they sent the yellow/orange card to my house addressed to my husband.  Only problem, he's been dead for 8 years.

Received the same yellow card with the same DL-0207 code.  Called them and had to leave a message.  Now reading this website, wish i had not left my phone number!!!

I just bought a house in a gated community Orlando. I received several of these yellow cards with the name of Perk Conveyors on it...trying to reach me to deliver important package.

Received same yellow card telling me they have an urgent delivery for us.  We just moved here and have not ordered anything to come to this address.  They must get info some how from a new home data base.  Not going to call to see what is so urgent.

Just came from the mailbox with one of these yellow cards.  Not wanting to get into a scam, I decided to check out Perk Converyers.  So glad I did and thank all of you so much for your input to this.  Computers are the best thing that ever happen as there is a very wide band of information out there.  Thanks all that have posted here and I hope more find this site before they make any calls.

i jus recieved the letter but before i called i googled it and this came up, so i played the game with the.. i said how did u get my address and she first(lisa) i need ur name and address since i blocked my number, i told her that she is a scam she hung up, so icalled again about an hour later of course blocking my number now (ashely) waw asking for the code so i gave a totally wrong code, and she said sir i can not locate the package can u please give me ur name and address, so i said sure it's John Dick, and the street address is 69 in ur mouth.. she started getting upset so i said what's the matter, she is this not game and i said no its a scam.. alll i heard was dial tone after that.. losers..

If I don't request it. I destroy the card.

I have just moved & received one of these post cards in the mail. I actually have ordered some things so at first sight it looked legit. Since it arrived over the weekend I just placed it on my desk to take care of this morning. Upon further inspection I noticed the return address says: Perk Conveyers. RED FLAG. So I GOOGLED the number & found this site. THANKS!! to all for the info. Into the shredder it goes.

I got a card from these fools. I am going to tell them that the guy there looking for has been arrested after, returning from Afghanistan. The guy you are looking for became paranoid and delusional after being continuously called by DHL delivery service. DHL was just trying to deliver his baggage after it had been lost by United Airline but, he mistakenly captured and constrained an off duty police officer outside his house which resulted in a three hour stand off with the police. I will then tell them that he'll be home tomorrow on bail till his court date but, if you want me to, I can leave him a message.

Received a postcard delivery notice for a package today.  It is similar to the ones described in the postings above with Tracking Number DL 0315.  The contact phone number they list is:  1-888-252-0651.  Isn't there a law against this sort of thing?

I just got "the card" as well. Thank you so much for all the posts. But maybe I should let them come out. My dogs need the exercise. : ) Just kidding.
