These people can not be sued because they are not a debt collection company nor any other company. I have had several lawyers look in to them because I was going to sue the hell out of them. Everyone needs to contact the local law enforcement in california to have these people arrested for fraud. It will take all of us to get these criminals behind bars. To those few people defending these criminals, we know that you are the ones calling everyone. We are not stupid and that is why we don't fall for your scam. You will be brought to justice one day and this will be sweet.

Like we're gonna pay just anyone who calls and screams "bad debt."  They have to prove it.  In writing.  Not with a phone call or email.

Why are so many people soooo dead set on labeling something a scam when they know they left an account on bad terms. People kill me  with this notion that if they run to an attorney for a debt they incurred everything will just go away. WAKE UP PEOPLE! Debt doesn't just "go away". It is sold, then resold, then resold and it will always remain just the way you left it, a debt. It may even accumulate interest and fees. You may want to check the Truth In Lending disclosures that you signed when you acquired the loan or merchandise, or account, etc.., that you know sooo emphatically deny owing. Ironic though. Someone who scammed something is calling the effort to recover what is owed a scam... Ha!

I have seen several messages on here of people saying they don't owe anything, but people please, if this were not the case, these people would not be coming after you. I maintain my bills vigorously to make sure I do not fall behind but I have family members that don't care too much and guess what, they are the ones receiving these types of calls and letters. People, it is simple. Either pay what you owe when you owe it, or stop playing the victim role when they are at your door for their money. I am tired of paying higher interest rates on loans because the rest of the US wants to swaddle the behind of consumers who knowingly and willing neglect to adhere to their financial responsibility. Please pay what you owe or leave the country and try not paying someone where else. see what happens

Hi, today I just had my family call me and tell me that Litigation Managment from the number 888-254-5114 were looking for me. They used illegal scare tactics to say that I was going to be sued and have to go to court unless I paid an invalid debt. They defamed my name by scaring them into thinking I was in trouble. I finally was able to reach them and I asked them what this was regarding. They said that this was in regards to a visa account which I do not owe. I then told them the process they went about it was not legal and I was reporting them to FCC. I asked them to resend the verified documents detailing what they say I owe ( I went along with it). I knew they were sketchy because Ms. Gomez then said that she could resend the papers but It would not get to me by Thursday were they were going to follow court procedings. I then told her why did you say that you already had a case and document number from the courts to my family? It's all sketchy. She then said that it wouldn't make sense to resend them because how does she know that I did not get them? I then told her to fax me the info and I would more then happily be able to pay anything if verified that I owed (even though I owe nothing). She said she couldn't do that , I then told her to email me the papers. She said she would do that but that I would go to court and have felony charges against me If I did not pay within a short time frame. Right away this was confirmation to me that It was a bogus company. She has yet 4 hours later to email me anything.  They harrass and scare your familyl into thinking your a felon so you pay . These people need to be in jail .

Got a letter in mail. Saying I owed on a credit card from over 12 years ago. said they were going to garnish my wages or take me to court. Mr. Diaz even had my e-mail address said he would send me documents. When I didn't get any documents I decided to look up this company and it brought me to this page. The call was a little wired when talking  Mr. Diaz he kept putting me on hold claimed he was talking to the people from the bank about the case.

I had my lawyer look in to these people and it is a complete scam and do not give them a penny. They use illegal scare tactics to get you to give them money. They will call people you haven't talked to in years they will find out where you work and threaten to get you fired and call your bosses, all which are illegal. They will not give you a first name or any information about thier so called company, which is illegal. The FBI branch in California has these people on thier radar, I didn't have to give them any information they didn't already know when I called today. I'm sure the address used is virtual and I will be contacting the owner of that building to inform them of a scam being done on the property. These people do back ground checks without peoples permission to get all the information. Mr. Diaz, pretty sure not your name. Lets see how you feel when we come knocking on your door.. Oh and grow a pair and call without blocking your number so I can trace your low life self. Real companies don't block their numbers and give out forwarding 800 numbers.. Oh and for the record I don't owe any debt...

Sincerely,
Messed with the wrong person..

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

?is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
?refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
?asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
?exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:

?Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.?Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.
?Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.
?Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
?Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

I just got a letter in the mail today from this company. They are called litigation management group. They are saying that I owe them over $3000 from a credit card I had 11 years ago. From what I am finding online it seems to be a scam. Check out these links http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-888-245-3668    http://www.fdcpa.me/united-states-civil-claims-department/.

Apparently this company keeps changing its address and phone number. SCAM
