Charged me $98 this company is a rip off!

Should contact credit card company. Possible fraud. You may have to change credit card number. Not safe for them to have your number anymore.

They stated in the call that, the service that I was paying for was a 14 day trial of some google kit to get a web site and advertise ads for google on the web site in an effort to make some profit from each of the ad posts.

I've used it and got some lame recording that suggests that I go to their site.  I get there and find nothing. People like that should be exposed on television, internet and the press with pictures - just like other criminals. http://grantmyoffer.com

i thought that i was signing up for working at home with google.  i did give them my information and i saw the 1.88 out of me account there was no mention of another 98.04 to come out as a monthly fee. i have tried several different numbers this one and ones i had gotten off the emails and all of them are no good. I am going to the bank tomorrow  and file a fraudulent active charge.

I am another victim of this fraud.
I have an advise for all those who went through the same situation:
First, Call your BANK and change your card immediately.
Go to the Police and file a Report of Fraud. With that report number, the copy of your account statement, and a copy of this page, go to your bank again, file a report of Stolen and fraud, ask in the bank to notarize the form they will give you and give it ALL documents to the person in charge of that manner.
IMPORTANT to know! Most of the Banks Policy doesn't give you the money back after 60 days of the date issued, so don't wait too long and act quick.
IMPORTANT ALSO. Do not call this fraud company to claim anything. They will tell you to give them your credit card number with the excuse to process your money back. IT IS BETTER TO CALL YOUR BANK DIRECTLY.  DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS PEOPLE.

a call not knowing who this company was. Some how they got a hold of my visa account number and took out $98.04. And my bank never asked me if it was okay or not. Seems like somehow I should sue the bank.

I have been trying to get my money back from these people since March 19.  I just filed a complaint with the BBB.  The more complaints the better, file a complaint with the BBB.

I too got scammed from this company. I first noticed $99 was taken out of my account on 3/18 so I called the number on my account and was told how sorry they were and the momey would be put back in my account within 1-3 business days. Since then I have called at least twice a week and every time am told a new and wonderful story. Our system has been down. I dont know why your money hasnt been refunded. We will send you a check. I dont know why someone told you we would send a check as we dont do that. It will be back in your account in 1 -5 business days. Oh I see it has been in que since April 1, we are having problems with our system. And the stories continue. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and am writing my affadavit for the Attorney General/

I got the same BS as everyone else has with this company.  Just wanted to let you know that you guys are not alone.

Before you get too stressed about calling and asking for assistance from the same people who are already stealing from you, collect as much info as you can regarding the charges, phone #'s, addresses, etc then go to the Better Business Berau web site  www.bbb.org and file a formal complaint.  Don't give them a chance to keep doing this to other people by placating you with refunds... Take action and take these sleeze bags out!  I also filed reports through the Attorney General, FBI, Local News Media and my State's District Attorney.  The more people who file official complaints, the quicker they get the attention from Law Enforcement that they deserve!

Me and my husband got scammed the same way. We called the company but they said that they need to have someone approve our refund. We did not bother wait and reported it as a fraudulent transaction to our credit card company.

Myself and 3 people at work were also taken for a scam with this phoney grant crap.  Over the weekend we were all charged $98.04.  Called the # and were given a cancellation # and was told to call back in 48 hours.  One had called on Friday, so he called this morning and they gave him another # and a person to speak to and they said it'd take 3-5 days for his money to be refunded.  We'll see what happens!!  Does anyone even know what the membership was for??????

So did they refund it? They said the same thing to me, that they would refund it in 48 hours. I already called the bank. I don't trust them either.

Oh I am soooo mad ! This exact same thing happened to me. It all started on Feb 25, 2009 and I keep calling everyday and they just keep telling me that the $99.00 will be back in my account within 48 hrs..........NOT!! It is Mar.11  and still no refund. I did call my bank and cancelled my credit card. I am not sure what to do , but I want these people stopped.

Ordered the cd for $1.98 or something and then googled the company only to find out that they are ripp off scammers who will charge you on your credit card if you don't cancel within 14 days. I immediatley went back and cancelled and what do you know, today (march 2, 2009) i was charged $99 on my credit card. I am pissed! I called the 888-255-1241 and spoke to a man who said he did not see that i have cancelled. I told him i have an email cancelling this and i can fax it to him to prove it. He still said that my membership shows it's active but he will cancell imediatley and i asked if i was going to be credited back the $99 on my  credit card. He told me to wait 48 hours and call back with a cancellation number he gave me and they will credit back my account. I don't know if i trust him so i'm calling my bank to have my credit card numbers changed and i'm calling the grant people back as soon as i get off work. Please don't order this cd for $1.98. It's a ripp off!! I received the cd and the information on it is the same information you can get on the internet!!! for free!!!!

TO ALL WHO HAVE BEEN SWINDELLED BY THIS BOGUS COMPANY, I FINALLY GOT THROUGH. YOU HAVE TO CALL YOUR BANK AND REQUEST A CHARGE BACK. THE AGENTS NAME TO GIVE IS IVAN, AND HIS AGENT NUMBER IS 246. IT TAKES ABOUT 7-14 DAYS TO GET IT BACK.

This is Grantmyoffer.com they purport to get a student loan for you and it has been sited that they steal money form your credit card.  

When I visited this site The message said  "Thank You for ordering your Free Grant Money Kit! Your Kit will definitely help you take full advantage of ALL of the many Grant Programs..."  I couldn't find contact information, and I believe it was the only page on this site.

I ran into the same thing although I could never get through to them on the phone as I was put on hold and they never did come back to me.  I called various times throughout the day and evening.  I wrote a long letter to the address that the CD came in but it probably won't get to the right people.  In the letter I told them I thought they just took the call and put you on hold and just left it like that as they don't want you to get in contact with them.

Today I just called my credit card company and found that there had been two different transactions and they have cancelled my card and will issue me another one with a different number and sending me papers to fill out for fraudulent reporting.  These kind of people should be prosecuted!

CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD IMMEDIATELY AND HAVE A NEW NUMBER ISSUED!
