I did go to a website for security services, that told me 3 companies would get right back to me (over 3 weeks ago).  Maybe the web site wasn't up to par, but either way, when I saw the 888 255 8177 number I didn't know who it was as they didn't leave a voice mail, so I did a bing search and found out here who it was.

PS: We have ALL of their numbers blocked, and it keeps on coming in. Two of their other numbers are 800-657-2717 and 800-951-5149. They started trying again at 7:25 AM CST here!

It's Protect America, and they are getting phone numbers from ADT when people switch services! Go to the FCC website, and click on Complaints, or call them or your telephone company. Protect America will NOT stop calling you even when you tell them they must "remove this number from your files" - we get their calls 7X/day and night, for a month now - nothing stops these idiots but the FCC can stop them, and will.

Called me as of 10/7/2011. Same thing. I am also on the do not call list. If you aare also, go back and make a complaint.

I recvd calls from this company "protect america, home security" I spoke with them and was told that they wanted to mail me the system and I will have to install it myself. I told them that I had another company come and install a security system the same day. Since then I have recvd hangups from 888-255-8177

Keep receiving a call from this number. They never leave a message.  I've reported them to the Do Not Call agency.  I would suggest you do the same to get these people to stop harrassing others.

Called my cell at 10 pm this evening. Left no message.

I have been getting the same annoying calls.  Never a vmail, but they start in the morning and go all night. On my cell. I don't know them .  I want it 2 stop

I have been receiving calls from this number every day and sometimes twice a day for 10 days now. No message is ever left.

I have recieved this call also! The number is 888-255-8177. I dont know how they got my cell number or what they want. I NEVER give out my number to anyone or anything! They have called more than 8 times a day, everyday, for the past few weeks and I am SICK of it! I have already reported them to the "national do not call list"

got obnoxious call at home on a Saturday from a "Randall Johnson" of something like "Protect America Home Security" at (888) 255-8177. He claimed we had requested information by email which is untrue and ridiculous. He said very aggressive things including "wait, do not hang up on me" and "you people are unpleasant, we have lawyers too"

I keep getting calls from this number: 888-255-8177, I'm sure its a security company. They keep calling my cell phone during working hours and I can't answer my phone. but I don't want them calling me. No messages left. I want it stopped.

I've gotten called by this number 3 times yesterday and it doesn't leave a message, it has called before but not that many times. I know it's a company but I forgot who exactly. I called back and told them to remove my number from their call list or whatever 2 days ago and turns out they didn't and that's when I got those 3 calls yesterday. I want it to stop!

I got two calls from this number today.  VERY annoying.

Even though I *67'd them before I called, they knew my # and instisted that they had put me on the DNC list. I continued to call and press 2 until they asked me to stop calling.  Like the others, I have no idea how they got my # and I am on the national DNC registry.

I HAVE SPOKEN WITH 3 PEOPLE FROM THIS NUMBER AND TOLD THEM THAT I WASN'T INTERESTED AND TO REMOVE MY NUMBER. I WAS HUNG UP ON AND I AM GETTING CALLS ON MY 'CELL PHONE' AT 1AM. THAT IS MY ONLY PHONE AND I HAVE CHILDREN AND I CANNOT TURN MY PHONE OFF IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY. THEY HAD TO HAVE RECEIVED MY NUMBER FROM DUKE ENERGY BUT THEY ARE CLOSED TODAY. PLEASE ADVISE

Please advise this company not to call.

The calls started on December 7th... and since then, they've called 9 times. It is so aggravating! I've also been getting spam phone calls from over 20 numbers in the past 30 days. I hate telemarketers! My number is on the Do Not Call registry but I guess that means nothing.
